An interim coach (especially from within) is only one hair above a lame duck coach. I hope the FO recognizes that and will give somebody from outside (Fewell?) a 3 year contract to begin the assembly.

I wouldn't mind Greg Williams since he has held the Lombardi as a DC and seems to have inspired D players. I understand his daughter plays basketball in the Nashville area.

I agree..if Munchak is the guy, he needs to be given a 3+ year contract as head coach, no interim label.

I agree with the interim tag issue..but unfortunately since they waited so long we just may end up in that situation

I'm really not excited about hiring internally at all. I like some of our coaches and coordinators but a Fisher protege is the absolute wrong way to go. We need to go in the opposite direction not more of the same.

Greg Williams or Munch don't excite me at all as HCs.
I'd rather get Gruden, trade for Orton and use the rest of the draft mostly on defense.

For anyone who wants to answer...

Why would Gruden want to come to the Titans with the CBA unsettled and Rusty as the only QB on the roster?

His wife was a cheerleader in knoxville.

But I don't think Gruden will ever leave tampa.

To expand on that, he actually met his wife in Knoxville. I believe he was a grad assistant with the Vols (i know he was on the staff, but can't remember what his position was), and met his wife while he was there. For the record, I don't see him or any other proven head coach coming here. And I am actually fine with that, recent history has shown that first time head coaches can have success in a short amount of time in the NFL.

That's true, in comparison to Miami it is boring. In Nashville you could walk the streets for days without getting robbed or murdered. So much dull uncertainty and we can all live without that kind of boring existance.
