Maybe Leinart would have done better here, all he would have to do is be a game manager under Fisher, passing not such a big deal.

No, his problems are much deeper than passing. He had that "I am entitled to be here" attitude also, which I think is why Wisenhunt dumped him so hard in the preseason.

He would have failed anywhere with that attitude.

While we're being honest I'm a huge Vanderbilt guy. Dad raised me that way, it is what it is. That being said........ the best WR Cutler has ever had in college or pro is Earl Bennett. He still has been the best QB of 2006 and not just barely.

Most QB's are arrogant and should have that attitude. If you're so arrogant that you think meetings and game preparation are beneath you, THEN it's a problem.
    Also, I wouldn't say he's failed.

I would....if you think that VY has failed, Leinart has faired worse. I think that he had alot of the same work ethic issues that VY has, so it was a problem with him as well IMO.

Yeah, he still has a job, backing up Matt Schaub. He got that when he was released from his last job, backing up Derek Anderson. I guess it depends on what your definition of "fail" is, but by my definition that is failure.

OK...so what you are saying is that your love for Cutler is Vandy based...doesn't really answer my question, but I guess after three tries here it is the best I am going to get, so I will drop it.

Well Cutler has a losing record in the NFL and has thrown a lot more picks. If Young had a better coach and a better attitude he'd be far better, it's not even close. Keep in mind, you're still basing all this love after 1 Cutler season. Where were you last year with his 30 picks?

It's great that Seattle beat the Saints, very big upset indeed, but in the grand scheme of things, all Cuter has done is beat the worst team to ever make the playoffs in the history of the NFL. I'm pretty sure Young could have done the same, hell I'm sure Collins could have as well.

Just like how the Broncos have really righted their ship since picking him...

Never said he could "right our ship", just don't think our ship would be AS lost as it is now...
