VY is no Cam

    I agree, it is a bit too early to be able to accurately label Tebow, but the greatness is coming. That guy puts his heart into what ever he's doing, and no one will ever question Tebow's heart.

    I'm not saying Tebow is an NFL success story. But he had success in the games he played this season. I see Cam doing about the same and in the same way.

Marc mariani and craig stevens are slow, white and suck. I hope they get an acl. See I just wrote your next post for you. Well add the screwed up english and it will be perfect.

    Cam Newton Would Not Be VY2

    I was thinking of this and really on second glance, why would Cam automatically be a VY2? Other than being a black mobile QB, he really has the potential to be what VY was becoming but without the emotional baggage and injury issues. If we can achieve that, would Cam really be that bad of a choice? He'd continue the exciting gameday plays, mass appeal, and general on the field attraction VY brought.

    Tl;dr : if Cam can get here without baggage and injury like VY had, could he truly be what VY could have been?

    This is all assuming Bud drops his SEC phobia.

    People need to look at Cam Newton as Cam Newton and not even thing about Vince Young. Cam Newton has all of the potential in the world and could be a great NFL quarterback. Newton has a cannon of a arm and has the size/athleticism that no other quarterback in the NFL currently possess.

    I think Newton is one of the more interesting prospects in the draft this year but I don't believe he will be able to start on day one of his career. If we could bring in McNabb to mentor/ start for the first year or two of Newton's career then I would be all for taking him this year.

    I've said it before... but I have this fear that Newton is going to be a great pro but we are going to pass on him because of VY. I'm not even pulling for us to draft him. It's just a feeling I have.
