I bashed him and it had very little to do with his point of view. In that article he gave no evidence for why he thinks Young is a bad QB other than his maturity. His maturity has never been in discussion, has it? He is immature. We all know that. At least everyone who is in any way rational knows that. But, evidently, Fisher is pretty immature as well based on how he has handled Young. I understand why fans who dislike Young hate when Young fans bring up his winning percentage. It doesn't tell the whole story. But to completely dismiss his winning % is unfair. Both Young and Collins arrived during the same offseason. They have played with the same offense and the same defense. Young’s record is way above .500 while Collins is quite a bit below .500. Perhaps the team won in Young's first few years inspite of what Young was doing - even though he was pretty instrumental in a few wins those early years. Perhaps it was just dumb luck that the team that was 0-6 without Young somehow made it to 8-8 by season's end. Perhaps. Doubtful.

Also, there are many reason I think Wilcots is terrible, and those have nothing to do with Young. I just don't think he is a good analyst. That's just personal opinion though. I don't think he is a bad guy or anything. Just not that great at what he does. Obviously his bosses think the same thing since he is always doing the scrub games.

As hard as this is to take for so many people, the Titans are a pretty good team when Fisher and Young are on the same page. They are better together than they are apart. They can't work together and because of that I think it is time for both of them to go.

 

Fisher forced the confrontation. He made it about "quitting". That was a calculated move by Fisher. And Young made it clear he wasn't quitting on his team. He was quitting on his coach that had quit on him many times before. How would I react to something like that? I don't know. If I was a teammate of Young's and I had all the information - information we do not have as fans - then my take might be very different. I might be totally on Fisher's side if it was obvious that Young was just being a baby. I might be on Young's side if it was obvious that Fisher had been undermining him the whole time. I don't have all the info so I can't really answer that question. Based on what we know and reading between the lines, I would say that they were both in the wrong and both of them handled it poorly. So, they both have to go.

 

You're right about that, but for me it's all about the Titans. It would be so easy to be an Eagles, Giants, Jet's or Patriots fan. But I'm a Titan fan so you're stuck with me.

I didn't stab you or any TN residents. I'm not from Costa Rica. All I said was "only in Tennessee". That means Fisher get's canned 9 out of 10 other places.

 

I wasn't talking about SuperBowls, I was talking about Youngs record VS playoff teams and how if people aren't happy with his record against good teams then they would be disappointed with just about every QB in the NFL because good teams can beat any QB.

Now if you're unhappy with Vince Young because he hasn't won a SuperBowl in 5 seasons you have a legitimate gripe

Yeah, I know you can find multiple Schefter reports about that. Never said you couldn't. It's the source I have a problem with. Schefter is a tool. He is wrong more often than not. Why is this case any different?

Young went 6 for 11 and one Interception in the second half of the San Diego game. And the Interception was a deep pass. That sure does sound like a guy that didn't want to play. It's not great, but if he truly did not want to play do you think he would have put up numbers anywhere near that and do you think Fisher would have left him in if he had tried to quit at halftime? Fisher would have pulled him out and started Collins in a heartbeat at the fist sign of trouble from Young.
