Why could we win games when Vince was in but couldn't when Kerry was?

VY was averaging 8.0 YPA this year, KFC 6.4.
VY threw 1 TD per 15 attempts, KFC 1 TD per 20 attempts.
VY threw and INT for every 50 attempt, KFC 1 per 30 attempts.

Kinda explains why VY has a 20 points higher QB rating than KFC.


yadda yadda, KFC gives us the best chance to win yadda yadda VY doesn't know the offense, yadda yadda yadda VY can't throw the deep ball, yadda yadda.

 

Has anyone made the argument that Collins is better than Vince? Doesn't seem that way to me. But VY being the least smelly bowl of poo on this roster at QB is nothing to brag about.

There are probably 18 QBs in the league I would take over VY, but Collins isn't one of them.

Well, count me in the "stupid" camp then....as 24 is TRYING to explain to you, when a prospective new coach looks at the situation, he will see that the previous coach was fired in favor of the player...a player who has been basically an unfolding, perpetual soap opera since 2007. He will know who has who's back here, then will make his choice based on that evidence.

As I have said for the past couple of months now, based on this, anyone who takes the job with the scenario illustrated above will have willingly accepted that what Bud says, goes with regards to VY, which is why I have been saying that anyone who takes this job with VY still around will be a "yes man" for Bud.

If having this opinion makes me "stupid", then so be it, because this IS what will happen if the above scenario unfolds. Just watch.

Oyyy...another season of this perpetual soap opera is about to unfold. Just sad.

 

Clearly Fisher has been at odds with VY from day 1.I think Vince has shown enough that an incoming coach will want to see what he has in him a QB.

If Vince can't get along with another one or learn a new system then Bud is smart enough to allow the team to move on.I don't see us being in a position to win next season no matter who is in charge. The final year of VY's contract...is it really such a big issue.

Whoever is in charge will be in wanting the Titans in the market for a vet QB who can start or a high draft pick QB.

Collins is done and we have the need no matter what.

 

When Bud sees VY stinking it up and losing games, then he will have no problem getting rid of him. However, there is one small problem. When he plays, they're not losing games. Big problem!!

 

Remove Pacman Jones from that game and what do you have?
