Yeah well since that's a dumb idea you may as well just take it for what it is. The guys are pissed off because they had a chance to be good and the coach took away their QB. Instantly they sucked and couldn't win. Now it's all over and it's just another crappy, 6-10 season for Jeff Fisher's Titans. Of course they're mad, they're competitors who just had their season thrown away over an ego tripping coach. You can't just fire Britt and CJ and the defense and Moss because they're upset. That's all this team has going for them

They had a chance to be good? And Fisher kept them from being good. Did he also keep them from tackling? from catching the ball? caused them to incur a penalty every other play? Did he keep them from learning their craft? I don't think so. They are grown men who have been playing this game for a long time. No coach can 'keep' them from being good if they want to be good. They let their emotions get ahead of their common sense. And I suspect that is because they get paid this season whether they play or not. So because they were pissed off, they decided not to.

If any player quits in a game out of some sort of psychological protest against his coach that player isn't worth a damn and needs to take a hike.

They may not have confidence in the leadership of the coaching staff but that is never an excuse to quit.

We played a team that is what we are supposed to be like. A team that takes care of the football, plays good defense and runs the ball.

the difference was night and day.

  4. I like Fisher and love VY, but its time for then to go! I think they'll have success, but not here! I am ready for tree or four year rebuilding, just bring the right NEW guy and we'll see!!

I'm not going to read this entire thread because chances are I've read 100 just like it in the past month. My apologies if this has already been said, but...

To say the reason the team won last week and lost this week because VY was on the sidelines for the victory is the most ridiculous thing in the world. VY showed up against the Texans in the second quarter, after we had a 21-0 lead. Multiple players said they were surprised or didn't even know he was there, so they obviously weren't concerned with putting on a show for him.

Exactly. Most people know that the real reason is because last week I wore my Finny jersey while watching and this week I wore my Haynesworth.

Sorry Amy but things just don't work that way. Maybe in high school were there's huge disparities in talent but not at this level. Every team has athletes. Coaching goes a long way when the talent level is more even.

And I want to "high five" Big Time Titan but I'm out of high fives
