"He also must accelerate his deliberate delivery to keep defensive backs from breaking so quickly on his passes."

I've never agreed with this statement about any quarterback. Players can see quarterbacks pat the ball before they throw it as a tip and it doesn't result in a billion picks. The only thing it can do is open him up to more hits in the pocket.

One of his biggest weaknesses that I have noticed when watching him is that the "deliberate delivery" is because he stares down his intended receive way to often. This is something that as a junior he should've began to overcome if he is planning on coming out. Anyway, this is all conjecture as far as I know. Has he said he would enter the draft or was considering it?

Why do you want Mallet? Mallett is a larger version of Chris Simms. Great arm, all the physical tools, but a terrible decision maker with questionable vision. Guy has lost his team games with his terrible decision making. Luck > Locker > Mallett.

I think Ponder is a great late round pick though. If he's still around in the 4th, he's definitely worth a shot. Maybe even late 3rd.

I like Ricky Stanzi more then Ponder...Ponder has all the tools, just doesn't translate it with the talent around him. I agree with the idea of taking best available in round 1 and a QB later though.

I will be surprised to see McElroy do well in a league that leans heavily on QBs. Best case scenario he's a younger Kerry Collins. Game manager who will need to rely on great OL play and running game.

Against defensive lines that have gotten pressure, he has been terrible. Look no further than last years national championship game for proof.

Forgot about Stanzi and I agree. Highly doubt he goes past the 2nd though.

I agree...we would have to take him in the 2nd, but I would be more then fine with that. I'm still hoping that Peterson, Akukamara, or Fairley will be there when we pick in the first, but that W Sunday may have ended that hope.

Wanting the team to lose is being a real fan? Bullcrap!

Vince Young will be our QB next year and Fisher will be our coach. That's what i think. As for drafting higher i see little tangible evidence it helps that much. Carson Palmer was a first pick and most titan fans wouldn't want him for our team. David Carr wasn't as good as Billy Volek and he wasn't even drafted.

Even of we make big changes we can use our first for Kevin Kolb or somebody like that.

There is never any reason to WANT your team to lose games! EVER! I don't care if the reincarnation of Joe Montana was the #1 pick and we had to go 0-16 to get him. I would be rooting for this team to win every week!

I agree with not losing out to get a good pick but why would you want us to waste one?
