True. Fish also said the same thing a few weeks ago though... and nothing changed.

    Inactives yesterday:
Rusty Smith (3rd QB), Robert Johnson, David Thornton
Troy Kropog, Lavelle Hawkins, Senderrick Marks, Bo Scaife, Vincent Fuller

Johnson and Hawkins don't qualify as "younger players"? If this was really about the youth movement then why was 12Gage even out there? He should be in the exact same boat as Scaife. Both are pretty unproductive guys who aren't nearly as talented as some of the younger guys behind them. Heck, Scaife at least has 4 TDs on the season. Gage caught his first of the season yesterday.

Declaring your starting TE (who is healthy) inactive when there's still a remote possibility of the playoffs is very uncharacteristic of Fish. Wouldn't you at least agree with that? I think the "conspiracy theory" on this one is justified. If this was truly about the youth movement then Scaife wouldn't have been the only healthy starter not dressed for the game.

Fish is flexing his muscles and showing the players who's boss. Hey, more power to him. But let's call it what it is.

He is tied for 12th in number of touchdowns for tight ends.

You also might not have noticed Tennessee has never really been an offensive juggernaut.

Randy Moss is still a very good wide receiver..... you would never know it by how we play him.

Great. Half of those came in one game against the Colts.

Good players get their production regardless of the circumstances. Kenny Britt hasn't had a problem making plays. Good players don't let would-be touchdowns bounce of their chest without being touched by a defender.

I would make the argument that Randy Moss is one of the all-time great WRs, but he's not "Randy Moss" anymore. I'm pretty sure the only reason he's still on the team is so we can get a compensatory pick for him during the off-season when someone else signs him.

    Tight ends I would take over Bo Scaife;

Jason Witten, Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Marcedes Lewis, Dallas Clark, Vernon Davis, Zach Miller, Chris Cooley, Brandon Pettigrew, Brent Celek, Kevin Boss, Owen Daniels, Dustin Keller, Kellen Winslow, Aaron Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski, Jeremy Shockey, Greg Olsen.

18 guys. I'd rather Jared Cook OR Craig Stevens start over him just based on his fumbles and drops, so there are 20 guys ahead of him.

We got some really good production for a few years from a guy who was a sixth round pick, but he's got to go after his performance the last two years.

Dude, Bo Scaife is the least of our problems. We have this Jeff Fisher thingy that won't go away until Bud Adams says that enough already.

    114 Kenny Britt TEN WR
    CATCHES 33 NFL rank = 114
    YARDS 601 NFL rank = 55
YDS PER CATCH 18.2 NFL rank = 25
YARDS PER GAME 60.1 NFL rank = 31
    LONG 80T NFL rank = 8
    TD 7 NFL rank = 17

I love Kenny Britt but don't kid yourself. He nowhere close to being a top receiver in terms of stats.

Oh, and every receiver drops passes. Even the best. Do you remember Reggie Wayne dropping the TD pass on 4th and goal pass in the last minute of Super Bowl XLIV? Jerry Rice dropped 15 passes his first year. TO has lots of dropped passes.

After careful consideration of the argument, weighing the pros and cons, balancing the positives and negatives I have decided, in a judicious manner, that your opinion of what I should do has less than zero meaning too me and will be completly discarded from any further consideration by me.

Thank you and Scaife suPKs, VY is 'the Diva', Griffin & Hall are good players but until Griffin decides being a Titan is more important than his BFF then he can dance on down to Austin and do whatever is done there and although it would be a shame to loose Hall - FWIW looks like he has some sense - I'm willing to drop him as well. Not like there ain't a dozen FBs sitting around waiting for their phone too ring.

First BS is a TE not a WR
second in a more dynamic O the occasional drop can happen and everything chuggs along. For the Titans the TE position is a production position. Drops from the TE usually result in a stalled drive or a FG instead of a TD. TE cannot be dropping passes and throwing the ball on the ground when he does make a catch. BS has thrown the ball on the ground 4 times in the last 2 seasons(including PO loss from 2008 - there could be more but I remember 4) combined with his drops he has been posion for the O, a drive killing point losing machine. His benching is long overdue.

maybe Griffin feels like most do that VY is more important to the Titans than Jeff Fisher is. It's pretty obvious to me.

So you're going to compare a guy's stats who missed five games with a pulled hamstring to a guy who played in all the games before his benching.

    C'mon man...
