I guess I can go back to archived articles AGAIN if you want (won't be until tomorrow because it is bed time now), but I believe that this was actually discussed in an interview.

Why is it that every comment that those not agreeing with you must be documented, but you all can say things like VY is not allowed on the sideline (when there is public evidence that refutes this), without one shred of evidence, and expect it to be gospel?

    Entire point of post.

How did Fisher know Vince had a season ending injury at the post game press conference before he even had Vince thoroughly checked out.

Also Fisher said Vince Young was no longer the starter regardless of the injury. Fact.

Why not go ahead and get the surgery if your season is already over.

Has Vince Young gotten his press conference about the situation??

You only got one side of the story. People lie all the time. Jeff Fisher lies to the media all the time. Not saying its morally wrong as a coach, but it happens all the time.

I too thought it was suspicious that Fisher ended his season with no medical input other than he was throwing on the sideline.

I don't remember Fisher ever saying that? I thought he just said that Vince is no longer the starter for next week. And the season ending surgery stuff was after he was checked out by the medical staff?

    • On the possibility of a second opinion: "He may want to get a second opinion, he may want to get two dozen opinions, but our doctors said for his position it needs to be fixed. We're going to go ahead and do that based on the recommendation."

Fishspeak? Doesn't say he couldn't play just that he needed surgery. Could it have waited? I've seen many players wait until after the season for surgery.

I know that is splitting hairs but isn't that what Fisher does to create the best possible spin on a situation for himself?

It's exactly what he does. His post game quote was that regardless of the injury Vince Young was no longer. He didn't specify 1 game or 10 games. He simply said he wasn't the starter. Meaning his season was done.

Fisher made the decision to end Young's season. Bud should've stepped in.

Your argument and thread defies logic. If he didn't specify then how exactly does that mean his season was done? Kerry Collins wasn't the starter a few games back, hence he "wasn't the starter", yet I recall seeing Kerry starting on Sunday. Me thinks the straws thou art grasping at are a tad too far away....
