    What do we do?

Isn't it time to start thinking about next years team?

    (My dream)

I would love to see Tennessee go after Vick or Manning in the off season, I don't believe Manning is all that happy in Indy and I could see him in Tennessee! Vick would be a great pick up to, I believe he'll go wherever the Money is, question is would Tennessee fork out the cash? Keep Fisher unless we are able to pick up Tony Dungy or Rob Ryan. Draft linebackers and D lineman in the draft!!!

Whats going to happen (most likely)

Nothing changes in the off season might go after a good name defense of player. Young remains QB and Fisher keeps his job. CJ holds out till August trade rumors start then we work something out. (if I was Tennessee FO i would draft a solid back just to be safe). I still see us going D strong in the draft.

    Thoughts?

    On the OB issue:

Manning ain't never leaving INdy book that ! No way Philly let's Vick leave town the minute they lose in the playoffs or lose/win the Superbowl, book that too !

Sounds to me like Vince will be here and the guy next year according to what Bud is inferring as of now. I don't have an issue with that unless Fisher is also still here, if so then it's going to be another year of futility until one or the other is gone.

    On the coaching front:

Dungy is not coming to Nashville, neither is Cowher, and likely nor will Gruden unless the money is ridiculous.

Ryan, Harbaugh, perhaps several other possible Coordinators ? Maybe...

As for Fisher we can only pray to God, Little Baby Jesus, and Walker Texas Ranger, that he is fired the morning after we lose to the Colts on Jan 2 after losing his ninth straight game.

As for where do we go with the team ? There are sooooo many problems on O line, D-line, in the linebacking and secondary that it's hard to even point in one direction... Gonna be a bunch of lean years for a while gang.

Draft DEFENSE. We need a hell of a lot of help on ALL three levels.

Philly WON'T let go of Vick. And I'm sure they'll do everything they can to keep Kolb for Vick's periodic injuries. I want to see Vince Young back as quarterback of this team next year.

No telling what will happen as far as coaching staff.

I think if Washington releases Haynesworth, we go after him. Only for the right price though. I like these players in the draft (realistically): Nick Fairley, Prince Amukamara, Robert Quinn, and Jake Locker. We should also look into Kristopher O'Dowd, Christian Ponder, Mark Herzlich, Greg Jones, Casey Matthews, Greg Romeus, and Jerrell Powe later. Romeus is injury prone, but he could fall. Powe is just dumb, but you don't need to be smart to play DT. Ponder is smart (good for QB), Matthews is Clay Matthews' brother, Herzlich could've gone in the first round before he got cancer, and O'Dowd is just good.

I'd like to see Matthews a Titan... But the kid for UNC is the best OLB in the nation IMO

Here are my thoughts, take them how you will...

    Fire Fish-
    Release or trade VY-
Go after Harbaugh with a big contract and guaranteed control of operations-
Cut Scaife, Gage, Nickey, Hope, and Mouton-
Sign free agents to shore up the defense partially with money saved from cut players-

    Assuming that were to happen...
Have Harbaugh do his best to recruit his former Bear teammate Ron Rivera to coach the Defense-
    Switch Griffin to strong safety-
    Switch Jason Jones to DE-
Move Harris to center, bench Amano-

    2011 Draft...
Draft Luck or Mallett even if it takes moving up, however I feel we can get one of them without moving up... assuming 5-11 record.
Draft smaller-fast corner/safety to play free safety.
Draft speed receiver to stretch the field, DJax, Mike Wallace type of player.
Draft a stud interior offensive lineman, preferably a center.

That is all for now :)

my ideal and realistic offseason- Fisher resigns, VY returns (its going to happen like it or not) Larry Collins retires, we let go of Bo, Leroy Harris, Jacob Ford, Thornton, and cut Hope and Gage, i dont think Ball or Babin will leave because they know they work well with Wash. Also re-sign Moss for the right price. As far as FA's we sign Ronnie Brown because Ringer just isnt doing it, and he is versatile, with a new coaching philosophy, who knows how he could be used and with we'll have someone for CJ to split carries with while being effective, We also grab Ryan Kalil and move Amano to guard. Our Draft goes something like this: 1st OLB (Akeem Ayers) 2nd SS (Mark Barron) 3rd DT (Jared Crick) 4th QB (Andy Dalton) 5th OL (Zach Hurd) 6th DE (Ronnell Brown) 7th MLB (Jeff Tarpinian)
