Titans need to take a page from the Cowboys.

yea I said it, they fired there coach when the team show nothing and, and they have an old QB on their team. now look at them 3-1 since the fire and they look exciting.

 

I, despite the fact that I really dislike the girls, have to agree. OUCH.

 

This is what a good coach says..

"Hey guys if we beat the Jaguars today and the Colts lose, we are in 1st place in this Division, regardless of the meltdown we have had. So get out there and play with heart in hopes of taking 1st place and being playoff bound"

I don't know what world the players and coaching staff live in, but the world we live in, it's clearly visible that if we won today, we would be in 1st place right now.

But I guess they already packed their bags thinking it was clearly over.

What do you expect??? We stunk it up last week and how did Fisher react...shortened practice. Idk, Maybe we need a head coach that's not a "players" coach for a change.

 

Preface this by saying that I agree Fisher needs to go....

Were you in the locker room? Did you hear what he actually said (how do you know he did not say something like this.....given how obvious this is...)?

There is plenty of blame to go around for this debacle....lots of players share in this as well...

I was thinking that exact thing.

 

The only difference is that there was a coordinator (Garrett) ready to step in. Before Phillips was hired Garrett was the odds on favorite to get the job, and was being groomed for the position.

Not saying that I disagree with doing this, but I think that the lack of a suitable in house replacement will be an excuse that carries Fisher to the end of the season. Then, as much as I hope this does not happen, I will not be surprised if Bud keeps him in 2011 because he is too cheap to buy him out of the contract. I actually think that it is more likely that Fisher resigns than Bud fires him before next season.
