Maybe...maybe not. What I remember was a very, very angry headcoach...who just had a player cuss him out and quit on him...say that injury or not, VY would not be starting the next week...nothing about after that. However, considering what took place between the two, you may be correct in your assumption...still doesn't mean it's a fact.

Not a fact, but the evidence supports it. Whether or not Vince would've tried to play the next week or not he wouldn't have gotten the opportunity.

He was throwing spirals on the sideline. Unless it was his deep ball that was affected, he could still throw.

Correct... he was throwing passes on the sidelines. However, he was having problems controlling the ball... which he's already had problems with.

Fisher sucks, but I'm just saying that it was a legitimate injury.

Go back and read the title of the thread. He clearly DID have a season ending injury.

The point of this topic actually makes sense. What would be happening right now if Vince didn't need surgery? He would still be sitting out for the season because of Fishers decision. So yes, Fisher ended Vinces season before the knowledge came about that surgery would be needed.

But he did need surgery so who cares?

Any comments from Jeff immediately after the game were also immediately after VY had thrown his fit and walked out of the facility...as a head coach, Jeff probably wanted to cut his but couldn't do it.

No one knows what would have happened had VY not reacted the way he did. Maybe Jeff would have said, "We'll do an MRI and see what it shows."

IMO, if VY didn't need surgery and could have played the next week.. Then he probably wouldn't have played against the Texans but would have played today. I feel like they would have come to a compromise in order to finish the season. Winning > liking your teammate/coach/player/etc.

I wish we would cut Fisher.
