With at least one of you referring to the owner of the Titans as a senile ole fart, I would disagree. The Billionaire Owner of the Titans realize quickly that he could not tell Fish to fire VY yesterday and get nothing in exchange. Instead Mr. Adams would have said something like get his thumb patched up, his head half way screwed on, his bags packed and I will trade him to that idiot owner in Oakland this spring and get a decent draft pick.

We will not be able to deal Vince. There are only a handful of teams that he could start for, and after his latest event, everyone knows we will cut him anyways.

    right... wake up sir

bud was quoted as sayin he'll be here and we're goin to pay him a lot of money...thats not a line you use if you plan on cutting bait with him later on down the road. VY is his man and please dont kid yourself if you think he's got some secret plan to cut him loose at the end of the season.... aint gunna happen

Haha, to deny Vince is a diva is simply not accepting reality.

Not "a player" but VY. I don't think any of those players are naive enough to think an early first-round QB draft picks gets treated the same as the fourth-round defensive lineman. Is it wrong? Sure. But we saw how Fisher coddled Pacman for two years. How is what Bud's doing any different?

If Vince was not put on IR, he'd likely be suspended. I think a fine is still about to come down on him.

I don't see anything positive or anything solved by releasing Young... YET.

There is no point to releasing Vince yet. There is also no point in choosing to back him at this point when the HC seems like he is more or less done with him. I think Fisher is done if Bud backs him into a corner, and I think Bud's statement more or less did just that.

which ever team gets VY next year better have a great backup QB.

VY misses 4-5 games per season, sucks 5 games and pretty good the other 6 against bad teams.

So Bud didn't take up for a coach who has a .500 record the past two seasons and is 0-for-November? Bud may not be as big a Fisher fan as we think.

Bud just wants everyone to "git along". It's like gramps telling his son and grandson to work out their differences... except he writes each of them huge, honkin' checks.

He might not be, I have no idea. But that goes back to my other point. What type of coach is going to want to come to a small market team whose owner dictates who the QB is? Is he seriously not teetering into Al Davis territory here? Why come out at this point and indicate Vince is going be here next year, especially right after his meltdown?

Personally, I dont think Bud realizes the severity of the situation. I dont see anyway both Fisher and VY are back, which is why I think he should have let this season play out before coming out with that type of statement.
