OK...now I believe it. This is sad...the guy is still immature as Big Time said. I understand why he is frustrated, but what he did after the game is just simply unacceptable. I have been a VY supporter all along, but he may have blown his last chance here. So I guess this is the end of the VY era, at least in Tennessee.

This team appears to be coming apart at the seams, so I am guessing that it will look alot different next season.

Looking forward to reading the post game quotes.

Again, Kerry Collins STARTS a game with a bum throwing hand that clearly affects his throwing, yet isn't pulled until he injures his leg, yet Young is pulled after injuring his thumb, without even testing it in the game?

And now we get an article with more Jeff Fisher bull? Do anyone on this board honestly believe anything Jeff Fisher says? You'd think quotes such as "Best team we've ever fielded" and "Kerry Collins gives us the best chance to win" would have made people change their mind...

So basically Young get's injured, checked out and taped up, yet Fisher doesn't want to put him back in the game and when Young confronts him about it after the game, he gets canned as the starter.
To all those guys thinking Young could just demand to play, what you see know is what happens if he does....

Can we now please dispense with all the crap about Vince Young not wanting back in the game? He DID want back in the game, and when he confronted Jeff Fisher about not putting him back in he got dumped in favour of an incompetent rookie...

    But wait...

That makes it sound as if Vince WANTED to play and Fisher wouldn't let him. Which makes sense- due to throwing with the glove and all.

If so- don't pin this on Vince. If he's pissed because Fisher wouldn't let him play, he has every right to be mad and it's Fisher that should take the hit here.

He didn't drop it, it was a great play by London Fletcher. Bo came down with only one foot in bounds anyway.

Of course Randy Moss was wide open on the next play and Young threw the ball 10 yards over his head...

Why is it always VY vs Other quarterback? Rusty Smith is not the future either. Although I will say we scored as many TDs with Rusty at QB than we did with VY at the helm.

I'm done with Vince after what he did to the team. Walking out on your guys no matter what the reason is never right. Showed his true self, an immature young kid who can't handle being in the big leagues. Enough is enough, time for a change.

See the previous links: (one below and there was another one that was similiar)

    Entire situation is depressing.

    http://www.tennessean.com/article/2...ng+no+longer+Titans+starter++Jeff+Fisher+says

    Edit:

"Vince tore a flexor tendon in his thumb and I was not satisfied with his ability to control the ball so I stayed with Rusty," Fisher said. "He never said to me he was OK and wanted to go back in, and I was told he was a little upset after, and I was also told he threw half his uniform in the stands.

"Clearly that is no way to respond, so we have some things we have to sort out with him. He may need surgery, and if that's the case, he is done for the year. If that's the case, Rusty is our guy."

Fisher said he spoke with Young in the locker room "but is between me and him and the team."

I cant even say I'm upset he lost the starting job. Vince has let us all down, and this isn't the first time. I stood beside him reassuring he's our guy, but the dude is just not capable of playing in the NFL. I'm over my Vince Young crush. If Rusty is our guy, I will stand behind him. Today is a sad day for Titans fans.

Are you kidding me?? The classy and mature thing to say "Well obviously Vince was very dissapointed in being injured and not being able to finish the game. I understand his frustration and I'm sure he will be back working hard when his hand is better".
Fisher decided to throw Young under the bus instead, something which Childress is catching a lot of flak for doing....
