They both need to go upon seasons end. Get divorced all you want, just do it on someone else's time.

Fisher is going to start Rusty and only throw 20+ yard passes.

Because apparently he thinks that's what a rookie QB that's uncomfortable should do.

I do not believe the premise of this thread (the Wyatt tweet) until I see it formalized in a real article. VY did nothing to lose his job today. He played ok (not great), but with KFC out and Rusty looking like who he is (a rookie) at this point I think that Fisher plans to leave at the end of the season if he actually made this comment.

Why should we as fans pay our hard earned money to watch a team who doesnt put our best players out on the field??

This is a pretty huge day in Titans history. The Vince Young era is over.

    Why he sucks??

He fumbled? Like every game he fumbles, throws a pick or gets hurt. His stats suck and in the NFL hes about the worst qb in the league.

He can't play quarterback. He can't hold the ball. This offense is elementary. We run two routes; the hitch and the go.

Watch any offense in the NFL with a decent QB who knows what he's doing and you see a stark difference. He won't stand in the pocket for 3 seconds and scan the field hoping someone pops open. Instead, he'll identify coverage and know where he's going with the ball before the snap and manipulate the defense.

Vince Young has shown he can play in an offense that has the best runningback in the league and exploited one-on-one coverage when it's there by throwing a nice deep ball. More should be expected of a starting QB in the NFL.

I've been a fan of VY's for four years. I've been holding out hope that he'll turn into a good passer than can run when need be. It's not going to happen.

An agitated Jeff Fisher said that Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young may need surgery to repair a torn flexor tendon in his right thumb and would be out for the season if that is the case.

More critically, Fisher said that Young has lost his job and that there are sone things that have to be worked through. Fisher said he was told Young threw his shoulder pads and jersey into the stands before leaving the field and that Young said something to him after the game that will be kept private.

Young, whose third-quarter departure was cheered by the Titans fans on hand, dressed quickly and rapidly walked from the locker room and out of LP Field before speaking with the media.

Teammate Michael Griffin, wearing only gym shorts and socks, chased after Young and appeared to catch up to him en route to the parking lot but came back a moment later by himself.

Young completed 12 of 16 passes for 165 yards and no touchdowns before leaving the game for good in the third quarter.

His replacement, rookie Rusty Smith, finished 3-of-9 for 62 yards and an interception.

Titans veteran backup Kerry Collins was deactivated prior to Sunday's game with a calf injury, though he was designated the team's emergency quarterback.
