Okay so week-6 is upon us and Vince is looking good going into the Jacksonville game, but do I dare start him in my league with his shaky past vs the Jaguars??? My options are Vince or Aaron Rodgers. Normally this is a no brainier but Rodgers suffered a concussion this Sunday, and may miss this upcoming game. Jacksonville is ranked near the bottom of the league against the pass, whereas Miami (GB opponent) is ranked 4th in that area. Vince did impress a lot in his week-1 performance where he put up bigger numbers than Rodgers. But since then it's been Aaron Rodgers all the way for me. Vince has gotten better with each game after that disastrous Pittsburgh game, and reports say Rodgers will miss some practice, but should be ready in time for the Dolphins. What to do?

    Wait till Sunday
    Check Rodgers status
    ????
    Profit

Seeing how we passed more often than usual, I'd imagine the Titans will go back to running the ball more against the Jags so Vince probably won't get you a ton of points anyway, imo.

To me it's @$$ backwards to run on Jacksonville. Throw at them, they're ranked 29th. Passing has gotten us two out of our three wins.

My guess is we'll use the pass to set up the run, but Vince won't get over 15 attempts.

I drafted Vince late in my draft with hopes of using him besides during Rodgers bye (week 10). In my league I can still snatch up Ryan Fitzpatrick, Matt Hasselbeck, Seneca Wallace, Matt Cassel, Bruce Gradkowski, Derek Anderson, or Jason Campbell. None of them inspire much hope, so I'm likely sticking with Vince. Question really comes down to; will Rodgers be healthy? Anyone have a reliable source to whether he's in or not? It's still only Wednesday so we won't know til later, but I forgot to play a kicker last week, and I wouldn't be shocked if I overlooked another position this week. I like to set my rosters early so if I do miss something I'm okay.

I'd wait till the last minute on Sunday in order to check the injury report on Rodgers. Otherwise, looking at your choices, Vince or Cassel would probably be the best.

    Ryan Fitzpatrick - bye week
Matt Hasselbeck - plays Bears in Chicago. bad matchup
Seneca Wallace - High ankle sprain, Colt McCoy to replace
Matt Cassel - no receivers, but plays the Texans
    Bruce Gradkowski - hurt
Derek Anderson - he's a back up, plus bye week
    Jason Campbell - Ughhh

From Stephania Bell at ESPN.........I think you're good to go with Rodgers:

"While there was understandable concern early in the week, that concern has subsided with Rodgers' ability to increase his practice activity daily without a setback. Rodgers has been cleared by both the team physician and an independent neurological consultant that the league now requires, and barring a setback between now and Sunday Rodgers will be running the offense for the Packers."

I sat Rodgers and as a result have a measly 46 points at this point. On the bright side, I only need 50 total points and have Kenny Britt, Vince Young, and the Titans defense yet to play. My opponent has Josh Scobee, so I feel good about winning. Bye weeks have killed my roster, but I'm sitting pretty ranked #1 in the league at 4-1.
