McCourty broke his arm

    I sifted through all the threads complaining about a Titans win and others about how Chris Johnson isn't effective and should be traded (seriously... what is this place coming to?) and didn't see anything about this:

    Jason McCourty broke his arm yesterday. He might need surgery. At the very least, he's going to be out for a number of weeks.

    It better be Verner who takes his place. He was on the field in the game yesterday, so I assume he's now next on the depth chart. It better the hell not be Mouton.

    Don't fret guys. They'll just bring Harper back to fill in for however long McCourty is out. Doesn't that make everyone feel better? No, I'm not going to an "It Sucks" record on this post, I was just joking.

    If Verner gets his shot, I don't believe he will lose it based off ability.

    It all depends on if Fisher is willing to give McCourty his position back when he returns, but I believe Verner will eventually be our #2 CB.

    IMO, Verner won the job in preseason and got the shaft. I'm glad he got the job, even if it was by default.

    Verner's first play on the outside against the Giants? He gets burned by Manningham. Thankfully Ahmad Bradshaw got called for the chop block.

    We're going to need all of our DBs healthy and playing well against the Broncos.
