Oh by no means do I hate any of these guys on our roster. Good for Nickey that he is making millions doing something he is not that great at arguably, but that is not the point. To be honest I was in the military and it was a blast and I did play football in high school....big difference than pros but how many pros can say they have done what I have done.

I dont know what it is like to be a pro baller nor do I care. I am reasonable enough to know it wasnt going to happen and now I am gearing towards a career in aviation. I dont look up too or idolize any player on our roster maybe except for Hall only because I relate to him. You could ask me if I could take back my service years for 4 years on random NFL teams, I am pretty sure that even if Jesus Christ came down and said it could be done, I would still much rather have been a Marine.......but current times eh yea maybe I dont know.

It's so weird getting to the age where you can no longer look up to NFL players. Your entire childhood looking up to these guys, then all of a sudden, these superstars are younger than you. I still see them as older, even when I know their age. I see Britt as older than me, even though he probably was a Freshman or 8th Grader when I was a Senior in high school.

You conclude so much from such a simple three word post.

    1. I didn't even mention VY.
    2. I never called anyone stupid.
    3. My comment wasn't even directed at at you.

Because in that "heat of the moment" where Fisher has to make those decisions that we all criticize (because we all would have surely only made the right one correct?), he decided they had to do something. We were stagnating like dead meat on offense. CJ could not run to save his life...VY could not move our offense to save his life...our offensive line was not able to hold off the defenders long enough for VY to try and figure out what to do to save their life.

So...because Fisher I am sure wanted to beat the Steelers as much this game as in any game past...probably more than I wanted them to beat the Steelers and believe me...I wanted to beat them so bad I probably would have hung from the goal post pantless if it would have been the difference....he made a decision to go with experience over "VY-ness".

Did it change the outcome of the game? Almost...we won't ever know if VY would have pulled another miracle like he did against AZ...I am guessing he would not have.

I do know one thing...we will find out if VY has put this behind him and if he is ready on Sunday. And I know another thing...if VY lets the Giants D completely confuse him and its going in "that" direction again...you might as well just expect to see Collins back in the game.

I would bet that if you sat in the film room with Fisher and Dinger and let them step you through the game play-by-play they would probably have you walking out asking why they waited so long to pull VY out...hate them or love them, blindly or critically, they have a ton of experience with this game and with this offensive philosophy. While I may or may not agree with it....I have no doubt they made the decision based on more knowledge of the game at hand than I will ever understand.

Oh I know, I am only 23 so I guess I am the same age as some of the rookies. But when kids like Sam Bradford sign that contract I am just like:suspect: lol.

But it has more to do with age. I think it all started with the McNair incident. I loved that man but the way he went out made me reflect on things. They are people too and most of the time have more issues than "regular" people.

Fisher teams can't make mid adjustments to the offence.

Chris Johnson did not play badly. Even Jim Brown would have looked bad with our gameplan.

We are the most predictable offence in the league.:sad2:

That is completely untrue. That is the opposite of Jeff fisher's career as a coach.

His history as a coach says that he does not, does not take a team with little talent and get something out of them. When we were depleted due to the cap or injury we had losing seasons. 2001, 2004, 2005..

History also shows that when we have really good talent he wins. 99, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2008.

He has never taken a weak team to the playoffs and he has never not won when he has had great talent. Your point is backwards.

3 13-3 seasons suggests he can coach talent i don't know where you get that from.

I made your post more factual and less subjective. Even cleaned up some faulty spelling. You're welcome.
