Why is our Defense better?

    What is your opinion as to why our defense is much improved this year? The defense leaked like a sieve last year, and we have mostly the same players returning.

    Is it the flowing in of younger players vs. the old order (KVB, Harper {obviously}, Bulluck) or what?

    I think a lot of it has to do with us playing the Raiders and the Steelers. Once we play a team with an offense, we'll see how good the D really is.

    D-line is getting more pressure. I think it's that simple.

    We'll see if it continues when the Titans play a team with an above average o-line. The Raiders and Steelers both have terrible o-lines.

    That is true, but they shut down Mendenhall, who was a good back despite the terrible O-line.

    I think we're an all or nothing type of defense at this point. We will rush the hell out of the QB and sock him in the mouth at any given moment. We are playing with urgency.

    notice Harpos phone hasen't rang and KB/KVB landed jobs due to connections not skill. Not saying they are not skilled just that their play alone did not get them paychecks. KB really wanted to be in NY and Jimbelina really wanted KVB too show his boys how to pratice. JMO you mileage may vary

    I personally love our current lineup on Defense, besides (Insert scrub here) at the opposing OLB spot to 'Spoon.

    Once we get McRath back, I'll be super excited.

    Jason Jones is on the field. Michael Griffin is playing better. No more Nick Harper and Jevon Kearse.

    I'll be interested to see how they play against the Giants though.

    I forgot about Kearse, that Turd. People would still chant "Freak" when he'd accidentally get a sack or two per season.
    Eventually a vision impaired squirrel would stumble upon a nut.
