Save The Franklin Theater?

    Any of my fellow Franklinites have any scoop on what the status of the renovation is. Their website is dead (as usual)..
    The theater was pretty much before my time here and I only ever got to see a coupla flicks there but I hear they once did midnight movies etc. which would be so cool to have here...
    Any info?

    From what I understand, it's being renovated but I don't know if a date has been established for opening.

    I think they plan on doing things like they have at the Belcourt.

    Man I was planning on it but stuff came up.. Coulda made some dough selling my Evil Dead swag too.

    Yeah, it was a really fun time. Almost sold out (if not sold out)...

    everyone was quoting it and laughing, sucks you couldn't make it.
