    Desean Jackson would catch him.

Good thing he doesn't play defense. :)

The anatomy of this play could have been broken down like this:

Watch- HUGE hole. Fast guy runs to endzone.

The move he put on Branch in the hole is sick. Such a quick lean that makes him break down and lose balance.

What's truly remarkable about the play is the move he puts on Branch, the safety.

Yeah, there's a huge hole....until Branch, the unblocked defender, steps up to meet him.

CJ makes a quick sidestep to the right, freezing Branch...then instantly cuts back to the left, around Scaife's block on the LB.

The crazy part is, he did all this at full speed, without losing any forward momentum....so when he clears Scaife's block, even though he's just made two separate moves in opposite directions, he's still moving at full speed.

In a nutshell, he made a short-area S-curve around two defenders faster than most players could run it in a straight line.

As far as the Desean Jackson comparison.....that's just laughable. Jackson is great player, no doubt....but he's done nothing to warrant any comparisons to the greatest players of all time.

CJ is not only being compared to the greatest RB's of all time.....he's already breaking their records.

To catch someone, you have to be clearly faster. Even if Desean is around the same speed(or slightly faster although this isn't the case), he still wouldn't be able to close the distance from behind. So no, not likely.

Tyvon Branch played the run extremely well, ran into the gap and had him bottled. That juke move was so fluid that it made it look like he was out of place even though he wasn't. Beautiful move, THEN Fast guy runs to endzone.
