I know various members of the media and don't get that from them. They just want access and he gives that. The media just wants sound bytes. He does the radio and TV shows well. Honestly, does anyone think Fisher should tell the media how severe an injury is or who he's starting at CB on Sunday? He won't ever give info which gives an opponent a competitive advantage.

As for the fans, I think he's still extremely popular among most. Among the diehards, we get frustrated with him but I don't think it's any more than what any diehard of any NFL teams is with a coach when the team is losing.

It doesn't give the opponent the advantage. He just talks for the sake of talking... there's no strategy. Hell, many times he's saying the reverse- that a guy will be back in 3 weeks... and he's out for 2 years.

He's just a mouth attached to a porn stache.

And maybe the media here is ok with his nothings- but anywhere else and he'd get eaten alive by the media- even more so due to his style of "answering".

If anything, Fisher should not speculate the length of an injury. But the media asks him so he's going to give an optimistic reply.

Now, as for not being asked the tough questions, that's 100% on the media. When the Titans got beat 59-0, there were a couple of questions about the dedication of the team. But I don't remember anyone pressing or questioning his reply which would not happen in a major market.

I agree with everything in the above. We have a shot to win the Superbowl with Fisher as coach this year. I don't think we among the favorites but we are within the realm of possibility.

This is where I disagree. I'm ready NOW to see us try with a new coach. It's all fatigue for me, where Fisher-speak and his decisions both player personnel and in-game have worn on me.

Obviously it's too late for this season, so good luck to Fish and the Titans. I hope to see the unexpected this season.

I remember yelling at Haynesworth after the stomp but any coach would have done that. Also, at a Browns game I was at we tried a fake punt and we had it but the receiver dropped it, would have been a TD if not for that. I looked down and saw Fisher slam his clipboard down and I think went after the receiver. But those are really the only two times I can think of.

I actually like how Fisher is sorta quiet during interviews. Some coaches talk all about their injuries and problem and IMO that's pretty dumb to do.

I like Fisher's approach to media better than anyone else that I've looked at closely. He's subtle, more than anything else. He's not going to say much to the media, and he's not going to provoke them into making more out of things than they will if he says nothing. Sometimes he's really funny, though it's usually when unexpected.

He definitely doesn't get the treatment that he'd get in NY or LA, but I think he fully embraces it and encourages the low profile. He's not clamoring for a camera like Rex Ryan. He's not super egotistical like Billick. Can't think of any other examples.

He won me over back in the day of the quote about alltel being a home stadium for us. It's rare, but he's had some good lines.

Fisher has a yelling quota he has to meet each season. if you see him yelling it's to make Bud Adams think he is trying to be like Rex Ryan.

All i know is tht Fisher and MR have worked together to build a damn good football team. We went after exceptional ahtletes who fit what we like to do and now it is coming all together.

Fisher's handling of VY has been outstanding and he turned what could have been disastrous situation in 2008 and saved a great season by being solidly decisive.

He has some of the best people in the league working for him guys like Washburn and Munchack. Guys every team would like to have and Cecil's defense has the same attack dog look of the 99-2000 Greg Williams defenses.

So keep bashing him the whole time we keep winning.
