As far as I see it, Most draft picks are wasted anyway, cut within the first 1 or 2 years, give one up for a player that we know. I say it's less of a risk than drafting a DL as a 4th round pick, or whatever pick we give up. I don't see it being any higher of a pick than that.

If it fails, nothing gained, nothing lost.

AH is going to be nothing more than a DT who rotates with the rest. He won't get as much playing time like he did the last time around and he's not going to put up his old numbers. So it just comes down to how much are the Titans willing to give up to add a veteran DT.

Personally, I don't think he's going to play like crap if he's under our coaching staff. Yes, it would be awesome to get him into rotation on the Titans DLine but I have one concern...

The Titans defense have struggled through so much to build and maintain an identity, should that work really go in vain? Jason Jones saw the vacant spot and is SO hungry for it and I have to say that our entire defensive unit has stepped up as a whole. Although I welcome Big Al with open arms, i'm a little reluctant to say that this is going to be good for morale.

Jones wants to be the next Haynesworth and DDTB is back in the saddle, I just feel awkward. Its like when your ex-girlfriend leaves you for another dude and then crawls back to you when you already have a good thing going on with another girl. (Weird but effective analogy)...

Que sera, sera and at the end of the day, we'll still be a defense to be reckoned with....

Albert is and alway will be Albert. He's not going to give you 110%. He might not even give you 80% most of the time. But if he does, he's a force opponents have to double man. I can't stand his work ethic...or the drama of late, but, for the right price, I'd definately bring him back. Just go into it w/o the rose colored glasses, because he's not going to change his spots.

Give them Jovan Haye, Justin Gage, and a 5th that could turn into a 4th depending on how many games he plays.

    Al >>> Haye

Give them Haye and a 4th and we should have our most dominate DL ever.

Why does everyone want to trade Gage? He makes the tough catches and is a safety blanket for VY.

Dang, Redskins sure will look foolish if this goes down w/o at least 2 picks. Furthermore, I get the strange feeling Albert wouldn't last beyond this season before getting released by TN anyway. The whole thing doesn't feel right.
