God this is torture for me. I want Big Al back so bad and this seems like the 10th time we've disscussed bringing him back. Just pull the trigger and bring him home!!!

For those who question bringing him back, he can get into shape working in the rotation and I see him by week 8 or after our bye week being back to his Pro Bowl form. He is made for our d-line system, Wash can turn him back around.

Albert should play for the Vols.

I wouldn't mind getting Big-Al back. Even if he plays 70% hard, he's still a monster. I don't want to give up Kenny, and I don't think Fisher is just going to give up on him. Britt could be a great WR he just has to mature (he's only 21!).

    As for the trade:
Jovan Haye and 2nd for Albert Haynesworth?

    Maybe throw in Justin Gage?

I don't think anyone should expect him to ever return to Pro Bowl form. He played that way because of his contract situation and now that he's had his big payday, he will probably never go back to that.

I do, however, think that it's reasonable to expect him to perform at an above-average level and be a valuable part of the Titans D-line rotation.

Give them Haye and Gage, and a 4th.

  6. I'd bring back Haynesworth in a heartbeat in exchange for a mid- to late-round pick. It would clearly upgrade our DLine, even if it isn't a need. The D is predicated on a strong front 4, so I say make it stronger. We always used to let down when Albert got tired. Well now we would have more depth and could rotate more. Keep him fresh and everyone else as well.

As for a trade, I'd suggest finding a 3rd team to trade another DLineman to first. The Redskins don't want a 4-3 lineman and we don't want to just cut one of these guys. But you can be sure there are teams willing to give us something for Haye or Ball. I expect Gregg Williams and Jim Schwartz would have some interest.

Either that or just waive one of those special teams LBs we just claimed...

The best part on this whole thing:

Haynesworth signed a 7yr/100mil deal (roughly 14.3mil/year), 'Skins already paid 32 mil on that deal. Its now 6yr/68mil (roughly 11.3mil/year) deal. Good times.
