Bobby Carpenter cut

I know he hasn't done to much, but being an Ohio State fan, I'm all for us picking up Carpenter. As slim as we will be the first few weeks, it cant hurt to add more depth right now.

 

Titans won't do it, but poaching a LB from the CFL might be a good move right now. They are about half way thru their season and would be in game shape. There are probably rules against it, but I remember the squeelers grabbing a return man early in the NFL season a few years back.

 

I'd take Carp over Keglar or Winborn. Probably won't happen though.

 

Rough day for Buckeyes in the NFL, Richardson, Carpenter and Troy Smith. Least we still have Donnie Nickey lol.

 

I'm surprised he lasted that long in Dallas.

 

I hate to say it but i don't see Smith going anywhere else. Richardson should be able to sign somewhere and so should Carpenter, it would be awesome if we could get one or both. I think Carpenter can be alot better than he's shown and I think he could do really good in our scheme

 

He was actually cut by the Rams. I saw one of the Rams pre season games and they had 4 OSU linebackers, now 3.

 

We wont ever do it.
