We have never had any luck with a player named Williams on Offence.

Unless we can steal Mike Williams from the Bucs it's not going to change this year.

I don't know if Mariani makes the 53 man squad, we have enough WR talent at the moment without him. We have eight DE's, six that are all in the running (we only need four). Ten LB's with a need of six, but with Thorton and McRath as wildcards, we may get stuck keeping guys like Winborn & Keglar. I like the guy, who doesn't, but with so many other areas for concern, we may lose Mariani in the craziness.

If Fishers' boy doesn't make it in professional football, maybe he'll make it as a Scout!

Mariani is going to make the team without any doubt at this point. He is by far our best return guy and really not a bad backup WR. Now if D. Williams looked quicker than my deceased grandmother on punts and kicks and didn't fumble the ball maybe Mariani is the odd man out but the kid will make the team and be active on Sundays returning KOs and punts. He has been flawless fielding the ball which is the most important thing and he actually get upfield fairly well. We need him.

In all honesty the odd man out at this point might be Hawkins. No way we cut Williams, a 3rd round pick who looks pretty good as a WR so far. Hawkins main problem has been that he isn't a returner.

no we don't. We have 3 maybe 4 WR's that might be better than he is. That would make him the #5 WR

Washington, Gage and Britt are ahead of him, Hawkins is the maybe. The others are D. and P. Williams, Sewall and Edison. Based on what Mariani has shown I put him ahead of those guys

    P. Williams needs to go ahead and retire. Let Mariani bulk up some and give him another year and I really think he could surprise.

Crop circles are Mark Mariani's way of telling the world, that sometimes corn just needs to lay the F**K down.

Seriously though, I think he makes the team easily. I trust his return ability more than Williams, although I wish both of them were a bit faster.
