Somebody who is thin at WR will grab him for the vet minimum.

The issue for me is not if he is better than Edison but is he better than Hawkins. No he is not. Edison is too young to mess with right now and Hawk seems to be improving to the point where he can be helpful.

Why displace 2 young guys for a player with no upside at all?

    So what's the story;

    A) Our coaches make the most of crap talent
    B) Our coaches fit the talent to our style
    C) Our Star players are making everyone else better
    D) All these players really do suck, and we got them at their peak of mediocrity.
    E) Our coaches made these players worse over time and we kicked them to the curb
    F) Players are much happier here than elsewhere
    G) They miss Nashville?
    E) Fisher demanded they suck and the players agreed to it.

lot's to think about as to why when players leave here they stink it up. But a trend is a trend.

Probably right for the most part, but I think there are exceptions with guys who would've thrived if they stayed here. They may have indeed reach their peak, but say guys like Fat Al and Odom stayed... I can only imagine. That's assuming Fat Al would actually try. Kearse may have not got so unlucky in Philly had he stayed. I don't know, but the point is that I think our coaching style (mainly Washburn) have made players better than they can be anywhere else.

    Post # 3,000 right here. :wink2:

He's back with the Redskins now. I saw him make a catch last week and make a pretty nice run after it.

we got plenty of WR's and even some promising rookies that can also play special teams, why bring in a guy we done cut that is injury prone and is battling a hammy injury? doesnt make sense to me.

I hope the Titans see it like i do.

I agree with you. Right now we don't need any WRs and not BJ.

The players do or did suck. McNair only had one year with decent receivers and I think he was MVP. Now, its the same thing for VY. They depend on McNair or VY to break down the defense so they can get open. Three years ago was the worst. No one was ever open.

We now have some decent receivers except that we never get to see them on the field to see if they are any good. Britt is solid. He catches the balls thrown to him, gets some separation, and is tough.

I don't like Nate much. Alligator arms balls and is inconsistent. He is pretty fast but that is it. If he takes any kind of hit, he looks like he is injured. Gage is a decent third receiver. Hey, at least he catches the ball and occasionally makes a play but I think we should have mixed in the other guys.

Lets see Hawkins out there. Lets see Jared Cook more. They delivered in the clutch against Arizona last year and then we never see them again. I don't know if they are any good but lets see what we have.
