Okay dbc, we know we know, Vince can't beat good teams. You keep saying that when it's not true. Those are simply better teams than us every year. KFC is right where he belongs, sitting on the bench with his hat on. I love KFC as a backup, it's when teams game plan vs. him that I hate the guy. 2008 no one saw 10-0 coming with Collins under center, no one. Not even one defensive coordinator in the whole entire NFL, that's how he kept winning. They were all like "is this guy really still out there"... But as we saw in 2009, he sucks! He's the go-to guy when Vince tweaks that hammy tho. I can tolerate some Collins, but not a full games worth.

Pretty cool actually we had the coolest July in almost 80 years, I have always considered 60s and a breeze as kind of cold, but the Padres are hot and still in first place which is honestly a welcome surprise.

IMO a good backup is a guy who won't take any reps from the starting QB during the week, but can come into a game if needed and play with confidence. It is usually a veteran on the downside of his career. The 3rd QB should be the young guy you're bringing along for future (or trade) or wildcat, etc.

In that regard, Collins is one of the better backups in the league and who cares what they're paying him, there's no cap.
