    I got mine up to 117 and I didn't have a Benz.

I'm not justifying what he did, its obviously dangerous, but I think most guys have done that at least once.

    Take 'em out!

It looked like they were about to get sniped or bazooka'd to hell several times in that video.

I got up to 124... but it was in an isolated area. No one was driving. The only person in danger was me.

I highly doubt that "most guys" have done that EVER. I'd be shocked if somebody came into this thread and said they've done something similar to that before. You stick out so much, and you're putting the lives of others at risk. If you want to go 130 at 3 AM when no one else is driving on an isolated highway, go for it. But this stuff is stupid.

Pretty ballsy. I'd slow down and start to panic at around 120 when traffic seemed to be stopped on the interstate back when I used to push the pedal.

I don't think most guys have done this either. Dude was clearly racing with someone too. People's lives were at risk, which is why he was arrested at gun point. It's no fun for anyone on that road to be a part of that, when they didn't ask to be. Sure guys do that, but not all of them. I'd put it at less than 15% have gone over 130 mph anywhere.

What makes no sense to me is the fact that he thought he could get away with it in this day and age. Do you guys who drive this fast get away with it all the time?

And I don't buy the deserted isolated road excuse. It's a road! and You are on it. What makes you think someone else won't be on it too. Just asking for trouble for those who do it. I get the rush. It's fun. But it won't be fun when something goes wrong. And eventually, it will.

I was out West in my Lexus GS300 and there was no traffic on the highway, about 6am, and the road was clear, flat and straight for as far as I could see... I got that sonb!tch up to about 140+ when the steering wheel started shaking and the car became extremely difficult to control. The smallest nudge of the wheel could have been deadly. Never did that again but it sure was fun.

I did and smoke a civic though one time but I got up to about 105-110 max

I guess you've never seen 840 West at 3 AM. It's so wide open and there is literally no one on it... at least when you're getting closer to Franklin. If there is, for some reason, another driver... you have plenty of time to slow down.

I don't see a problem with speeding when the person's life you're putting at risk is your own.

Just realized that Tyreke Evans is exactly one week older than me. That's scary to think I'm going to start being older than some pro players.

Oh boy! I've done this, cops pursuing and all, no chopper thou. Like Evans I too was only 20 years old. In the end I ended up with 50 hours community service, license suspend for 30 days, and had to attend a MADD class. On top of that I ended up spending thousands in lawyer fees and ticket fines to keep out of jail. I'll admit, since then I've never sped like that. I've done it several times leading to that arrest, but after getting in trouble I learned.

Reflecting on that day, I figured that cop may have saved my life. I feel that I'm a top notch driver, but who admits they aren't? I'm glad I didn't end up wrapped around a tree or in a ditch somewhere, or worse killing an innocent motorist.
