Well said. I love CJ and am very happy that he's our RB and am appreciative for all that he's done for us, it just rubbed me the wrong way. I mean come, I understand he's not the sharpest tool in the shed but seriously. He thanks uStream and twitter and doesn't even think to thank his teammates. Didn't even shout out VY and they were sitting together at the show. VY ain't the brightest cat neither and even he remembers to show love to his teammates.

I know that once he gets on the field and torches Oakland for 250 or more opening day I'll totally let it go. But it still was very undude.

He can act like a big time star as long as he keeps playing like a big time star. If you got it, flaunt it. How will CJ screw us? By leaving Tennessee? We will have had him for his peak years by the time he decides to play else where. Eddie George was only as good as his OLine when he went to Dallas.

I think I'm the only person on this board who is concerned with how much juice he's got left in the tank after taking all those touches and yards last year... given.. most of those yards were in the open field... It really scares me when I see 295lb backer come barrelling full speed and they have tiny CJ come in and throw the last second block.

If you go back and look at 2008 season, CJ coming out of no where and blocking a man twice his size is the reason Kerry Collins head is still connected to his body.

The guy is in the middle of a contact negotiation. He's going to be doing a lot of chest-thumping when given the opportunity. As to whether or not he feels his OL was a big part of his success, he praised them often last year and ended up buying them a nice watch after the season.

I've learned over time to not care much about what a professional athlete says off the field. I'd love for all Titans to be all "rah rah", team-first guys but, in the end, if he's not getting it done on Sunday, it doesn't mean squat.

CJ has every right to flaunt his s..+ I just think he's gonna want to leave TN the first chance he gets.

I agree. Still, I'd prefer to have legitimate respect for my team's star players if possible. Like I said, I'll still be one of CJ's biggest fans on Sundays. I'm just disappointed that he's taken on this self-absorbed attitude as of late. He seemed above that pre-2k.

That's not fair to women, not all of them are always complaining. My girlfriend NEVER complains, but my wife does.

Trust me if we are thinking this then you know his O-Line is keeping mental notes. The O-Line gets no glory ever but the one thing I know is if a running back or qb take too much credit on their own then they at least need to thank the O-Line.

I did like how he thanked God. With the country turning more away from religion and God, it makes me pretty excited to hear people give credit to the man up above. If your non religious thats ok, not trying to start a war but its my personal opinion and I respect yours.

Great post. I agree with you on him forgetting about his teammates. I feel bad for talking so much s..+ about him not showing any love to the team. I did forget that he thanked God first which did show a lot of class and a strong faith. But still he thanked Ustream and twitter and he can't spare 2 seconds to shout out his teammates.
