He didn't even mention his teammates or O-line. He thanked Ustream and twitter but didn't even shout out his O-line.

I'm starting to see CJ become a Lebron-like, attention-hungry, ego-maniac. He wants to be a star big time. I can't hate on him for that because he is a bad MF. I just hope that he doesn't get too big-headed and try to screw us.

he can want to be a celebrity all he wants- he doesn't have mass appeal.
Really getting tired of hearing his name and drunken ramblings.

You guys keep wanting superstars and playmakers but when we get one you criticize him for embracing it? Sigh. Over 3k yards in his first two seasons + receiving yards..give the kid a break for christ sakes. Even if he does become an ego maniac, ditches us for another team for more $, it's better than having a roster full of nobodies that accomplish nothing but mediocrity. If you don't like hearing about him, quit watching ESPN and following his twitter, it's pretty easy.

Yeah, although it is possible to embrace superstardom without being a complete douche about it. Those 2000 yards went straight to the guy's head and he's seemed like a completely different person ever since. Before he seemed like a pretty humble team player that I could be proud to call a Titan for years to come. Lately though, he's more and more making it clear that it's really all about CJ. He's putting money and celebrity ahead of the team and the game (which is what gives him his money and celebrity in the first place). Don't get me wrong, I'll still cheer for the guy on Sundays, but I sure as hell have lost a lot of respect for him since the end of the 09 season.

What award did he win, exactly?... or was this just his NFL Offensive POTY award? I got off work (yes, I have a job now, thank God), came back home, and turned it on. It was a repeat, but I managed to catch CJ's speech... just don't know what award he was given.

    Lol. Anyone hear about this?

    Best breakout athlete.

I, too, was disappointed about his lack of mention of his team. I saw him walk up to the podium and was thinking, I bet this clown doesn't even mention the word Tennessee Titans. No 'thanks for taking a chance on me in the first round', no 'big up to my o line for clearing monster holes' no 'props to Vince and the rest of our offensive unit'. Nope, none of that. Thank God, twitter (follow me) UStream, and that'll be all. He's a punk, but he's our punk, and I can deal with that as long as he stays loyal to the Titans and produces like he has been. Which, of course, will require some major contract overhauling.
