Yeah, like not every team wasn't preparing for him after his rookie season.

And the last sentence isn't necessarily true.

Because CJ is the best player on our team and one of the best players in the entire league. He's a superstar. Why should Vince get more attention when he is nothing more than an average quarterback in this league?

Compare to the 2009 season the last sentence is true and will be true. I would bet money on that! What I want to say is that if we are a functioning team CJ will have less carries and less yards. How good or bad are the others prepared for him?... well just a few more weeks and we find out. I can't wait for all the off and preseason talk to end and talking facts and numbers again. I hope for a good year for the Titans as a TEAM!

I'm not complaining about VY. One year ago I was a VY hater... not the case, at all, anymore. I'm just saying that CJ is getting all the attention because he's the best player on our team. Vince is an average QB in the NFL.

    Let's see here.

    1. Brees
    2. Manning
    3. Brady
    4. Rodgers
    5. Rivers
    6. Favre
    7. McNabb
    8. Ryan
    9. Palmer
    10. Romo
    11. E. Manning
    12. Roethlisberger
    13. Flacco
    14. Schaub
    15. Cutler
    16. Young

Cutler and VY are possibly interchangeable due to Jay's dreadful 2009 season.

It was a hell of a drive by VY. There's no denying that, but to base his talents solely on that drive is silly. Look at the majority of his drives... not so good, huh?

You could argue that Young is better than, Cutler, Schaub, Flacco, Big Ben (because of his various legal problems), Romo, Ryan, and Palmer.

You have to look at the offenses these guys had to work with, Cutler had Marshall look at how he did on an offense comparable to the Titans....Horrendous.

Schaub has the single best receiver in the NFL, VY has at best a average receiving core.

Flacco has had a good run game, and an unreal defense backing him, and has had Mason, who would probably still be our number 1 receiver.

Romo has had, T.O, Miles Austin, Jason Witten, and Roy Williams, all better players than the Titans have, minus maybe Roy Williams.

Ryan has Roddy White, who would be our best receiver by far, and maybe the best receiving TE of all time.

And finally Palmer who has had Ocho Cinco, his entire time in Cincinnati, and Housh for a couple of years.

Vince Young has had at best average talent around him, and really 09 was the only year it was average, his other years starting it was far below average.

None of those QBs had anything close to the rushing threat CJ has become. Reality is that defenses are playing to stop CJ which gives Young a lot more opportunities than most QBs listed here.

Can you imagine the numbers any of those top 15 QBs would have if they had CJ on their teams? It would make most unstoppable.

This is the year for Young to prove he's the long-term answer. And he's going to need to take his game up a significant notch for the Titans to do more than sniff the playoffs. If he can't do it with four years under his belt and the league's best rusher, then he can't do it.

You're really trying to say a running game is more important to a QB than their receivers...

Sorry but no, a great passing game, can in turn make a great running game(look at the saints), a great running game does not make a great passing game, as the Titans proved last year.

Are you seriously trying to say that QBs aren't good or are overrated just because of the fact that they have great WRs to throw to?

You're right... Joe Montana and Steve young had Jerry Rice to throw to. You can argue VY is better than them.

Schaub, Flacco, Roethlisberger, Romo, and Palmer are all better than VY. There's no argument there.

Peyton Manning has Reggie Wayne (and had Marvin Harrison). VY is arguably better than him.

Tom Brady has Randy Moss and Wes Welker. VY is arguably better than him.
