You mean the Raptors who were ranked 5th in the league in ppg?

Just because Bosh averaged 24, does not mean he automatically does this on another team. Yeah, the Raptors put up a lot of points last year, but they were a bad defensive team... period. They were one of those teams that give up 108 points to get 110, or fail and get 106.

I mean looks can be deceiving when you're on a bad team. Adam Morrison left Charlotte averaging 12 points a game...

Look at all the guys who play for Mike D'Antoni and Don Nelson. Their stats inflate big time. David Lee went from 10 and 8 to 20/11 and a All Star 2 years later.

Bosh got bailed out by LeBron coming to town. Had it been Wade and Bosh... :ha: Now LeBron and Wade will average 65 FTA's per game. Bosh will probably get in the way since he thinks he's a small forward.

I mean, have you ever even seen them play? LeBron and Wade are both at the top of their positions for defense (except maybe Kobe > Wade). Nevermind that they are both all-defensive team members for 2 years running.

Bosh is only so-so. You are wrong.

And who was talking about lack of rebounding earlier? LeBron and Wade are once again, top of their class for rebounding. Bosh is also at the top of his. Sure, they still have a gaping hole at center, but we both know that they will probably get someone serviceable, and that is all they really need to be.

And about the 8 minimum salary guys... guess what, all 3 guys took less money so that they can sign a solid supporting cast. Let's not mention that every vet in the league will happily play for the minimum to collect rings with them. The only thing that will be able to stop the Heat are injuries.

The more I think about this the more I'm reminded of the Celtics. I thought they'd fail too. Not enough depth, too old, whatever else. I'm starting to think this Heat team might actually do well. How well? Not sure. Probably wont win it all this year but I wouldn't be shocked if they did.

The Heat have targeted Juwan Howard to help fill out the team.

and i also agree, the only thing that will stop the Heat are injuries. im pretty sure they will make the playoffs and Wade and Lebron has plenty of playoff experience. Wade even knows what it takes to win in the Finals. Gonna be hard to stop the Heat if they all stay healthy. After what the Cavs owner said about James, im sure his fire to win a Ring will be bigger than it ever has.

I was talking about rebounding. If your best rebounders are swingmen, you're in serious trouble. Bosh is weak inside. He'll get manhandled by most of the East's top teams.

They'll, without a doubt, make the playoffs assuming injuries don't consume them. But, I don't see them making it past the second round of the playoffs. At best, they'll make a conference finals appearance and lose.

Everyone seems to think NBA coaching staffs are filled with cavemen that can't figure out to beat a team that has nothing in the paint.

It's not hard. Dump the ball down low, and you'll kill this Miami team. Bosh while a "big man" is still a jump shooter. He doesn't bang down low. Never has. Never will. Wade/Lebron? Jumpshooters, even though Lebron drives 90% of the time and can't hit a jumper to save his life.

Everyone expects this team to be the ultimate highlight reel. They probably will be- but will probably provide most of that on opposing teams alley-ooping over and over on them. Not that ESPN will show it, should it happen...
