without a doubt the 08-09 playoff game against the gayvens. 2 fumbles on the goal line, in the 4th quarter the playclock going down past 0 and with no penalty called joe faggo completes a long pass to keep the drive going and kick the game winning field goal. that game was so painfull i didnt watch the rest of the playoffs or the superbowl that yr and the word football made me sick to my stomach.

    1. Blowing a 35-3 lead against the Bills in the plyoffs
    2. Rushing for over 100, passing for over 300, blocking a kick, holding them to under 50 yards rushing and allowing them to complete just 5 passes, after acheiving home field throughout; we lose at home to the ratbirds.
    3. Renfro catches an apparant TD to take the lead on Pukesburgh in the 79 AFC championship only to have a ref take it away.
    4. Blowing 21 point against in the playoff to the Broncos

Ravens have had the Titans number in the playoffs; sort of like the Colts have had the Ravens number. I know the feeling well

As bad as that one was, I'd have to say the first playoff loss to the Ravens (when ADC blew up) was worse. :grrr:

    Yep. That was pretty bad.

At the very least... a few years later, the wound healed up a bit when the Music City Miracle provided a touch of revenge in the post season.

    It helped a bit, anyway...

I am sorry, but nothing compares to this. I know many of you weren't fans of the team when this happened, and it was the oilers and not the titans, but how can blowing a 35-3 lead in the 3rd quarter in a play-off game not be the worst franchise loss ever? This still hurts me 17 years later and I can't even watch the highlights.

After this, I will go with the 79 afc championship game loss to the steelers . . .

After those, I will go with the playoff losses to the Ravens . . . in any order really.

I know the Super Bowl was tough, but it didn't hurt like any of these. Hell we were in the Super Bowl for the first time ever . . . hate to say I was happy to be there, but I was . . . took some of the sting out of the loss.

Seems to be an away thing.

Baltimore beat us twice at home. We beat Baltimore at Baltimore.

THe 08 playoff loss to the Ravens made me sicker than any other loss we sustained. I remember being on the verge of tears at the end of that game. And I lost my voice screaming at the refs about the play clock winding down and Joe Flacco not being flagged for delay of game. Awful night.
