I never said AP + 2 first round picks was stupid I said it was illogical, you trade a hall of fame player for anything less than the New England Patriots' key players (talent wise) during their dynasty plus two high draft picks is stupid and I'm sorry Peterson alone would not get us to the Super Bowl. Okay I take it back AP for CJ would be a stupid trade.

I would much rather have 5 or 6 years of Spiller, Ringer, Blount, and SJ than 3 more years of CJ's whiny a**. If that make's me stupid then I'm f'n stupid Fisher being "Mr. No One is Above This Team (unless your name is Paul Williams)" probably thinking the same thing. You look at our history this franchise will not hesitate to get rid of a me-first player no matter how talented they are

Why are we discussing trades? I wouldn't trade CJ for anyone. He is the perfect player for us. If we are gonna live and die by fisherball then why not get the tools the win. getting back to the OP we need to add a huge bonus and make sure we continue to discuss it.

They should sign CJ to a new contract, but he should come to mini camp also.

Because Tennessee is too cheap to give him what he wants, and they're gonna make sure he doesn't get what he wants from another team without heavy compensation forcing him to holdout in three years when his contract is up and he's franchised.

All this is is a bait and snatch technique the media is using to have us in the news for all the wrong reasons as usual, and everyone in this forum and everywhere else got lured in by the bait.

CJ missed voluntary OTAs last year worked out on his own and almost broke the single season rushing record not to mention broke Marshall Faulk's yards from scrimmage record, he misses this years OTAs and someone pushed the panic button over what he said about wanting to be the highest paid player in league history.

He may have leverage in holding out but not much and with three other rbs on the roster who may not be as explosive as he is but can play Fisherball, the best thing he can do right now is keep his mouth shut and play ball.

Here's an idea CJ you want more money get some f'n endorsements I'm sure you can get 50 or 60 million with a snap of a wrist.:irked:

Check where the Titans rank on payroll year in and out before you throw out the cheap card.

Yes this is correct they are above average on the payroll, but that because they do stupid money contracts for scrubs like nate washington instead of 5th round picks for the likes of santonio f"n Holmes. I don't care what that payroll chart says, titans are cheap.

Being ranked 7th in payroll last year does not get you off the hook for not being a cheap a** franchise when you are not spending the money responsibly on players that can get you to the top and it's very easy to be ranked high in payroll when you play in a city that's passionate for pro football Oakland is on top of the list while Indy and NE are the bottom two in payroll.

"Never mind the facts, they're cheap because I say they are."

Do you even know what cheap means?

If they are ranked high, they are paying people. It doesn't matter if they are over paying or paying crap players, they are still paying.

It's quite logical. You just don't read in between lines. Sometimes facts don't say it all bud.
