    Bud's comments on Fisher/MR:
“I think they realize they made some big mistakes, and they are going to correct them’’

Didn't see a thread, and don't think much of the comments, but Michael Silver and Charles Robinson from yahoo sports have taken some shots at Adams over the comments:

Overall, I'm glad to read Bud's thoughts, as they appear not to buy into the over hype Fisher receives in the media, and seem more ready for results.

he also threw collins under the bus.

“I think in ’08, these guys demonstrated what they can do and in ’09, quarterback was the whole problem,’’ he said.

He's right. It was without a doubt our QB's fault when our defense got torched in the first games of last season.

I can not think of another example of a man the age of bud Adams calling the shots for a multi-million dollar company. Even Steinbrenner was pushed out before reaching 80.

Bud is going senile. His comments make it sound like he thinks he is the mastermind behind the whole team and that he knows more about football than Fisher and Reinfeldt.

I love ya Bud, but you're just there to pay people. Let the football people make the football decisions.

I don't understand this at all....If he's so close to his death bed, and he wants to win a superbowl sooooo bad...then why the hell doesn't he go out and spend the money, make the trades, and improve this team as much as possible. If he wants to talk about missed opportunities, lets talk about not cashing in on a Haynesworth trade, or doing virtually nothing in free agency this season.

There ws nothing wrong with what he said. Although I don't like it, it sounds like Fisher needs some playoff wins to stick around.

Get the old guy a Superbowl (like he deserves) and make us all happy.

Also, wouldn't it seem pointless of an 87yr. old to be "pinching pennies".

That's some good stuff. Sounds like he's ready to light a fire under Fisher's arse.

He's been at it a hell of a lot longer. I'd give the old bird (what a fitting name) the benefit of doubt.
