Haynesworth (trade rumors, etc.)

Except one of those 3rd rounders is a comp pick (for AH) and can't be traded.
I'm all for bringing him back if we can get a good deal.

 

People sure are quick to forget how this guy plays when he's not in a contract year. I'll give you a hint, it's alot like last year.

I think its a popular misconception that Haynesworth did poorly in Washington last year. Having him on the interior allowed both of their DE's to have huge years.

 

Yup, while he didn't have his best season...he did have a great impact on the inside pressure.
They saw a lot more inside pressure last year than prior years.

 

Plus a top ranked pass defense, which is what we were missing. His contract is more manageable, now that the Redskins have paid him his bonus.

I knew it was a comp pick but did not know they could not be traded, sorry. Ok...a 3rd, 5th and Kevin Vickerson or Jovan Haye.

The skins will want to much and he is over priced.

Love paying a guy an NFL salary for playing a college game schedule. The old her gets the less he will want to play.

 

Snyder hates draft picks anyways. Would have to throw talent at him. He doesn't have an Eddie George in his collection yet. Resign EG and I'm sure Snyder will jump on the deal.

 

The best trade possibility I can see would be Jason Jones and Vickerson straight up for Haynesworth. Vickerson could be depth at NT, and Jason Jones would make them a solid DE in their new 3-4 defense. I think they will be looking for defensive linemen in return.

If they trade Tony Brown or Finnegan for that lump, I will be pissed.
