Most def, this is a HFD. We'd be stupid not to want him back after not having him last year. He is the reason we had a top 5 D under Schwartz cause we know for d@mn sure it wasn't the coaching.

I want this guy back for a ton of reasons. He's a monster in the middle and can collapse the pocket like nobody's business. He's huge, he's fast, he's strong, he's 28. I knew we should have locked him up before even tagging him. I understand the knock that I've put on him about playing part time and him having to take a breather every other play.

But now it doesn't matter that he needs those breaks because we have great rotation. We can take him out and plug in Jones or Marks along with DTTB. Ford, Babin, Hayes, and Ball would have free reign on the edges with AH clogging up the middle. And then we can draft a CB in the 1st. Then We'll be set.

This is a big reason why I would see him not wanting to come back here.

We will never give the Skins the money that's due in his contract and he won't consent for it to be reduced.

If they would bite on our 3rd, Haye or Vickerson, and ~$8M signing bonus refund, then we would be fools for not bringing back the best DT in the league.

We would only be averaging paying him ~$8M/year over the next 4 years, which is very reasonable.

I am all for making this happen as long as it doesn't involve giving up this year's 1.

I'm all for that. We could throw in Lendale too if need be and draft another RB late. After all, we love drafting RBs.

After further consideration, if they would bite on one of our OG straight up it might be a good trade for both sides. They are probably taking an OT at #4 and need better OG play to keep Mcnabb upright.

I could see giving up either Amano or Scott and backfilling with Harris at OG and bringing Mawae for another year until one of the young 'uns are ready to go (Kropog or draft pick). This should lead to essentially no drop off in starting OL play, with a potential drop off in our backup capability if Kropog isn't ready.
