I would take him back if they only want something like a 4th or 5th round pick. they already had to pay him that 20 mil balloon payment so his salary is pretty much in line with what we offered him.

I say bring him back and get back to winning. We won't get anyone in the draft that will have the impact that Big Gay Al will have for us.

Can't hate on the thought of Big Al on the defensive line again... but I highly doubt he'll be as productive as he was during his contract year. Though if he has even a decent season it'll be better than anything we can pick up with middle-round pick and I'm all for improving the team while CJ still has his legs under him.

Coach Mike Shanahan has instructed General Manager Bruce Allen to identify potential destinations for Haynesworth, to whom the Redskins paid a $21 million bonus on April 1, and the Redskins have talked with multiple teams about the eight-year veteran. The Redskins did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Wow. If someone would have asked me hypothetically do you want him back I would say god no. Now that it seems like an actual (although distant) possibility I want him back like a hot ex-girlfriend.

This would be crazy if it happened. If we get him back and he performs at the level he showed he was capable of before he left, I think we're far better and more dynamic as a complete team than we were when he left and we were 13-3 and had the best record in the league.

Make it happen if the price is right, front office.

A lot of teams might be scared off by his attitude at this point, but fortunately the Titans have dealt with him before, and perhaps absence makes the heart grow fonder on Al's part.
Regularly I could picture the Raiders as being a viable landing spot, but they're set for now with Richard Seymour, I don't think even they would splurge that much excess.

My concern, though, lies in the development of Jason Jones. If he's our guy for the future, shouldn't we maximize his playing time?
