This is the Redskins we're talking about. I don't see us making a play for him though. That's the thing about AH, he didn't care that the Redskins were a horrible organization, horrible team with a horrible owner. He took the money and didn't look at the big picture. He might wanna stick around now that they have McNabb and Shanahan though.

I don't see him as a very good NT though. Getting McNabb is a solid move by Shanahan.

That's what I'm steady screaming. I'm not saying that I'm with paying him $100 Million, but it should have NEVER even gotten to that point. We should have locked him up way before that.

I was happy when we first let him walk but if the redskins were willing to trade him to a division rival like that, he cant be that hard to get right now. If we could work a deal without having to recoup most of the signing bonus, we would be dumb not to take him back. just imagine out defense with him fixing up the line and drafting a new corner. Our offense is young and showing alot of promise, bringing big al back could be the missing piece for us.

Actually, he is only owed 48 mil over the next 6 years now. The Titans are reportedly one of the teams who could be interested. Can't believe nobody's posted about this yet.

I don't see that happening. The only way he stays there is if the Redskins refuse to trade him. They tried to trade him to a division rival, switched the defensive scheme on him, and don't try to hide the fact that he doesn't fit in there and that the staff is not fond of him. I guarantee you Big Al can't stand Washington right about now. The only think that makes the situation a little more bearable for him is the $21M dollar check he just cashed.

NFL.com's Jason LaCanfora reports league sources believe the Titans would be interested in bringing back Albert Haynesworth "at the right price."

IMO we dont need him now. we are almost over him and we are trying to build this defense thats not based on 1 guy. we screwed our self relying on Haynesworth to much and when he left the D fell apart.

We need to keep working on finding solid guys who can rotate and get the job done. If a guy goes down or leaves we should still be fine as long as we have enough guys who can step up. Haynesworth would hurt us in the long run. We pretty much had nobody ready when we lost Haynesworth.
