    No way.

There are things we should do but a WR isn't one of them. Definite upgrade but other positions are lacking that need more attention.

I guess D Mason isn't going back then?

lol WR is the LEAST of our worries.

ok in all truthfulness....getting a #1 RB is the least of our worries ;p
Just need a backup not angry at sitting behind greatness.

Could always use a new vet WR to compete for Nate "Iron Hands" Washington's slot.

I think we have a pretty solid offense. And if VY can do more than manage the game next yr and CJ continues to be a beast then we may actually have a super bowl caliber offense. Now our defense on the other hand. ehh

The problem is that both sides of the ball have to be of that high caliber to have a good shot. Or at least CLOSE. If they can get our D back into top 12 shape we'd have a shot. One thing good about being fans of a middle rated org is that we dun have to have the perfect year, llike the butt hurt colt fans; used to Melony perfection.......we just want to be a damn contender and we're freaking happy. That means.....NOT going 1 and done in the playoffs; etc. and holding out for the ENTIRE FOUR QUARTERS of ALL games.

I'm not THAT worried about offense. We have the most explosive mofo' in the NFL as our RB. Add in that KB is looking to be a top 10-20 WR in this league after a couple years work at this rate and if VY does what he's SUPPOSED TO DO if he wants to keep his job; then we'd be set on the side of the ball.

Our D on the other hand is losing KB. Its Captain. And damn good player. Our safeties played like rookies, not like the pro-bowlers they've been in the past; and our secondary was a laughing stock outside of Finn. (guy is prolly the most hardcore guy his size I've seen in the NFL...I love how he plays)

please, that would have left us with a 1st round pick and then no more till the 5th round

(course that should be the main reason a rival wishes we did)

Boldin isn't a top 10 reciever. I don't know that he ever was.

Top receivers in the league go like this (in no particular order):

    Fitz
    Calvin Johnson
    Moss
    Welker
    Andre Johnson
    Wayne
    Smith
    Hines Ward
    Brandon Marshall
    Roddy White

And I left some of the younger guys off like Santonio Holmes, Sydney Rice, Miles Austin, and DeSean Jackson b/c I want to see them repeat their numbers another time or two before I label them as elite.

Boldin is in the next group of receivers are very good, but not elite. I'd put him with likes of Donald Driver, Mason, and Chad Ocho Cinco as guys who once were elite (if only briefly in Mason's and Driver's case) but now are not.

Well scratch that last part. I see that they just resigned Mason as well.
