nice hater ... Could've watched some blacksketball ... *yawn* ... that was quite possibly the best sporting event I've seen in the last 10 years ... that's right, I said it ... awesome event ... hopefully it'll translate to people in seats, because the NHL is a gate driven league

'blacksketball'... was that a racist comment?

I'll assume it was due to there only being one type that watches hockey. Nice.

And this did nothing for hockey other than 1 night. It was an exhibition match. An all-star game. And the only reason Americans tuned in is because we thought we'd snatch some country's pride in a sport that we barely even play growing up.

The olympics were nicely finished off after a poor start for us. Winning the gold in hockey, for a record in gold medals ever in the winter olympics, was needed for Canada to feel successful though.

I'm from the westcoast and it was EVERYWHERE. Just going into a corner store cashiers would be talking to customers about the game. Literally everywhere. I currently work at a sawmall and had to unfortunately be there the day of. But even at a huge sawmill there wasn't a spot that you couldn't hear the game from some kind of radio.
