That would be awesome, then we'd have the sickest secondary in the whole league. Is he an UFA or RFA?

Think there's any chance we make a play for him?

Every time our newly acquired Free Agent WR Nate Washington dropped a pass I was saying "WTF"!

No more of those kinds of players please.

Very true JC, but in Nate's defense, I think he's gonna get it together and will really turn out to be the stud we signed him to be. Much of that will be improved as he and Vince work together more. But still, I was WTF'in! every time he dropped those passes too. Especially the one in the Indy game.

I just meant WTF! in a good way, not WTF?! in a bad way. I guess it's kinda hard to get that across without actually saying it.

Here's my updated wish list. And it is just that a wish list so don't razz me too bad for it.

Keep Tony Brown, Bo, Tulloch. Let Harper walk off the face of the earth. Let KVB and Keith hit FA too. If they don't get an offer somewhere else, then sit down and talk to them about a deal laced with performance incentives to safeguard ourselves. Because the way I see it, KVB and Keith have been very very hardworking guys and could be poised to regain their old beastly form.

Put Lendale on the trade block. There could be at least a couple of teams that would like to have a guy like him. Cleveland is one that jumps out at me right off the top. I think that we could easily get a 3rd for this guy. He was a trooper this year while take a backseat to CJ but I don't see him being so cool about it any longer. So let's do us all a favor and part ways.

Julius Peppers is gonna be the hottest FA on the market and rightfully so. This man is a beast and can rack up 10 sacks on an off year. He will definitely be looking to get paid, but he's also gonna want to play for a good team. This year is gonna be uncapped so go ahead and sign him and work it out where it pays him the bigger chunk this year. It'd be a perfect fit, he's a young guy who's in his prime needing a team like us, and we're a team in our prime needing a player like him.

Derrick Johnson is a guy that I wanted coming out of the draft a few years back and he's been a solid LB for a very weak and pathetic KC team. He would have a fresh start here and would be welcomed with his Texas connection with Griff, Vince, Bo and Hall. Plus he wouldn't be a top tier guy and shouldn't have as high of an asking price.

We will need a CB to line up opposite Cortland, Dunta Robinson would be my first pick and Nathan Vasher is my second choice. Both have had a good deal of success. Dunta is familiar with the Division, and would be interesting to have him play against Houston twice a year. Vasher would come at a lower asking price and would be just as good. So these two are my picks at CB.

I say move Leroy Harris to starting G to replace Amano who is the weak link on the line and re-sign Mawae for another 2 years. Then we can plug in Otto or Kropog to replace Harris when Mawae's time is up.

He's going to want top CB money and we all know the Titans past with dishing out money. I think if they can decide on a "Performance Based" contract, he might be an option. Honestly, I would rather see the money spent on Peppers...more pass rush=less time for a QB to sit in the pocket=Rushed Passes=No need for two number 1 CBs

I agree. With Peppers we wouldn't need 2 tops CBs. Cortland and any other CB not named Nick Harper would do just fine.

True, but I think it's more likely that we make a move for Dunta than Peppers. JP will ask for a lot more money and is pretty much a consensus for the top free agent this offseason. It's not the Titans style to go after number 1 (though I would love to get Peppers).

Having another great CB would free up our D a ton, letting us blitz and play a variety of coverages. I firmly believe that our "bad" safety play was directly related to having a weak CB2 that they had to cover for.

In the end though, we desperately need to upgrade our 2nd CB and our pass rush. I hope address one of those needs in FA and the other in the 1st round of the draft.
