Have you seen them with Denard Robinson in?

Of course it matters. But most teams have more than a true freshman as their #2.

But sometimes it happens. Even if they had a quality backup you just can't replace a Colt McCoy, with anyone on the bench.

    Ya think?

    Let's recap:

Bama has their Heisman Trophy winning RB out for significant time and they have enough depth at the position so that the team can still move the football. Good teams make sure they have depth.

Texas loses McCoy and the best they have is a true freshman who has next to no game experience. You don't find it strange that a top program like Texas doesn't have anything better?

Come on now, it's a whole heck of a lot easier to just plug in a new running back over a QB. Besides Bama didn't need Ingram to be great to win games. Look at Ingram's numbers vs. Auburn, their terrible, he got benched during that game.

    LOL.

have you looked at there roster?

Both there starting WR's, there heisman trophy Runningback, as well as the stud backup runningback who rushed for 109 yards and 2 TD's in the national championship, half there offensive line including 1 starting TE, and there Quarterback who hasn't lost a game since 8th grade, are all returning.

On defense they'll only have 3 returning starters.

Alabama will most likely be in contention again early december of next season.

No I honestly didn't really care. Now let me ask you something, were you one of those whiny UT fans rioting after Kiffin left? Really pathetic if you ask me but I expect nothing less.

Jeff, dude- really. Stop trying your hardest to pretend that losing a runningback is the same as losing your star QB.

You know that's a ridiculous comparison. And not only that- INGRAM STILL GOT MORE CARRIES THAN HE USUALLY DOES.

So he really wasn't that bad. The guy had some cramps- how that compares to a game-ending injury- I've no idea. lol

Alabama's running game is more based on their O-line than the back itself anyway. Plug any athletic back in there and he'll do well.
