The most interesting stat I've ever heard in football pregame:

    "Alabama's O-line hasn't had a holding penalty in 32 quarters"

... someone's got the refs in their back pocket.

And now THIS is pass interference? A clearly uncatchable ball, yet the 2 faceguards Alabama had weren't?

Amazing. Saban's got these guys paid.

And now "hands to the face" while on his shoulder?

These guys feel the need to seal this one just like they did against Ole Miss.

    He's no Jacory Harris.

Jacory Harris hadn't lost a single game until this year... EVER. Not in pop warner, or anything.

But Herbsteit ruined this one with his "Texas hasn't allowed a sack all game" BS right before the sack of course. I even called it. F Kirk.

Well, Alabama sure has a lot to be proud of...

especially after scoring that last TD when the game was already over. Everyone will still remember- they almost lost to some Fresh qb that didn't start throwing the ball til the 3rd quarter.

What an unsatisfying way to end the season. I have nothing against Alabama but they proved nothing tonight.

Manhandled? You love seeing people get injured? That's not necessarily manhandled that's just a component of the game, I mean Tom Brady got injured last year as well as many other quality players throughout the history of football. Then, I bet a person who possesses such an illogical hatred such as yourself would love to see Vince Young get injured, but I bet you're not man enough to root for it in the stands with other Titan's fans.

The day will come when you finally figure out you're the only one rooting against the FRANCHISE quarterback who went 8-2 on the season. Must have been hard watching him complete those 40 yard passes and win all those games this season while your boy Collins sucked his thumb on the sidelines after losing 6 straight games.

Gilbert did what we could have asked of him, sure it would have been nice not having that pick six at the end of the 2nd, but he grew up before our eyes yesterday, after having not completed a pass in the first half to throwing two TD passes and a 2 point conversion in the 2nd.

I mean honestly even with the talent he's suppose to have, being a freshman quarterback is enough of a handicap (look at Mcelroy) but the fact that he hadn't had but 30 snaps all season and probably wasn't practiced heavily to prepare for this game and you got loss on your hands - I mean when Colt went down the game was pretty much over - think the Indianapolis Colts without Peyton Manning. I"m just happy our boys fought all the way through with TWO kickoff turnovers and dominating defense and a late game surge to get it within 3.

Alabama won the game however and no excuses from me, injuries are apart of the game and the most painful aspect of it all is not having Colt show the world his talent level. Do I or anyone outside of Alabama think their team is better than ours with Colt? No. But yesterday that matchup didn't happen and so they are a better team as the score shows when we don't have Colt.
