Bipolar's home game attendance streak ends tomorrow

    :yes: Bipolar's home game attendance streak ends tomorrow.

    roughly 5 years, perfect regular season attendance.

    I gave the tickets to first time LP Field attendees.

    Father and son. 29 year old father, 7 year old son.
    Longtime acquaintance and friend. Good fans.

    I just don't have gas money to go or else I'd go and spend money and enjoy myself but times are tight and I'm realizing the ramen noodle reality that comes with recession being full on and deciding to take college courses. Holy crap, I am getting scary broke. I mean, I've been broke. No joke... but damn... please, this is the internet. Can't I beotch? That's allowed isn't it?

    I felt really good giving those tickets away. I told him that I was giving those tickets to him on the condition he take his son. So, in a way, I was truly able to give something of myself there as I often bring my own son to LP. I just guess though that since the streak went down it was worth recording here.

    For the record it's been every single home game since my absence at the 2004 game versus Jacksonville. That's week 3 of the 2004 season until now, week 14 of the 2009 season.

    I know how hard that drive must be. I admire all the out of town fans who come too the games. It is a long day and siginificant others are often less than supportive.

    Sorry your streak ends, but you get a chance to begin again against the fish.

    FWIW the last time the Fish were in Nashville was the most $$$ I ever got for tickets. I got double face for a pair in the SE corner of the upperdeck.

    Not saying that game will be as much $$ but you should be able too sell them

    I have a friend who is going to drive me to that game actually. I would go today but I couldn't interest anyone in making the drive for me in exchange for a ticket.

    Hopefully, it'll be a blowout for the Titans and the better game will be next Sunday. Though I won't complain if it's a blowout.

    BiPolar, reading your post really made me feel some kind of way. I really will pray for you and your financial situation, especially with the coming Holidays. I hope that you take/took advantage of the Angel Tree or other charity for your children's Christmas gifts. There is nothing shameful in asking for help if you need it. There are plenty of people who are given or have access to so much that it is a pleasure to get a few tags off the Angel Tree and give back to the community.
