What asinine thinking to actually think that to win a football game a team needs to score points and stop the opposing team. Well fiing duh!

Wherever we got the ball to begin with we were FORCED to go for it the 2nd time because we got no points the first damn time.

Are you saying that getting no points was a successful strategy? We didn't get any points on that drive! That was almost the end of the game right there.

How am i having my cake and eating it to? The score would have been 24-13 with us kicking off to the colts. We stop them, get the ball back and then try to score. If we can't do that we lose either way but getting no points after driving to the 2 sucks!

Your attitude suggests that that you might be due for a diaper change pal.

Lendale White will NOT be a titan next year and your moronic conspiracy theory will be proven wrong. He is not playing because he is simply not nearly as good as the other back we have. Most people can understand that.

Our redzone offense sucked in 2007 when White was our feature back so maybe you don't have a damn clue what you are talking about.

You are whining because you have lendale starting on your fantasy team right?

Lendale white is an average back in the redzone and in short yardage. He is averaging 3.0 yards a carry on third down in his career and .5 yards a carry on 4th downs. Inside the 10 his numbers are very mediocre.

    These are the career numbers.

    1st and goal average-2.5 yards

2nd and goal average -2.0 yards

    3rd and goal average-1.4 yards

    4th and goal 0.0 yards

I like lendale and have been a supporter of his but he for the most part in his career is an average 3.8 ypc type guy who will be rotating on another team next year. There is no conspiracy to keep his numbers down the GMs in the league know what he has done in his career. CJ has been so dominant this year he has demanded the carries he is getting.

The guy who is averaging 6.2 yards a carry has had 77% of the carries.

The guy who is averaging 3.5 yards a carry is getting 20% of the carries.

How in the hell is that a conspiracy? Maybe to someone who thinks like a 5 year old.

Lol... I was right. You are indeed trying your level best to make and argument despite the fact that you sound like a 5 year old kid!

Now he is making up new b/s with this crap!!

My statements have been very clear and concise. I wont fall into the trap of arguing nonsense that you made up in the probably shallow depth of your mind. Find where i said its asinine to score points. :ha:

Then you go on with this horse crap..

Still conjuring up silly arguments in an attempt to salvage some credibility from the ridiculous b/s you have posted? Because you do indeed have to have the reasoning capacity of a 5 year old if to this point you have failed to understand even the very same words you have quoted me saying.

I will encourage you yet again, stop assuming that i am dumb enough to fall for these idiotic debate tactics where you attempt to invent new tangents of a debate in hopes that your opponent will fall for such nonsense.

    Not me buddy!

Again with this nonsensical revisionist psycho babble.

One so inclined to think like you do could legitimately argue the game ended with Nate Washington's failure to catch that deep pass, or the fumble from Hall or the INT from VY or even the very first score from peyton manning!

It will always be folks with little understanding of football that choose to ignore a multitude of factors within a football and focus on one incident and blame that one incident as the cause of the out come of the game.

It is bone headed reasoning and thats why i correctly called your logic similar to that of a 5 year old child.

No siree! The score would have been 24-13 and thats that. The rest of it is all speculation from there on! Matter of fact the chances of Manning driving down the field were far better than the chances of the titans stopping him. Sorry the rest of us dont have that magic crystal ball you revisionists always seem to look and and shape your dream state history as you wish to make these infantile arguments!

    :ha:

I couldnt stop laughing when i read this crap!

Lendale white is an average redzone back in your small mind only.. The man scored a whopping 14 touch downs when he carried the ball in the between the opponents 9 yd and goal line.

He was absolutely the best in all of 2008 in the redzone.. But seeing as you have a penchant for making up horse crap and accusing me of saying it, i am not suprised now that you are trying to expand this argument to include every other irrelevant down Lendale white had when the core of the debate is his performance in the redzone.

This childish tactics may fool alot of people but sorry, i am afraid no one is buying them. Thats why they are all callling for lendale white to have carried the ball on all those downs in that situation because his numbers from last year dont lie! NO one was nearly as good as he was carrying the ball in the redzone so please direct your bogus campaign to sound that educated when it comes to titans football along another path.

Because here you get an enormous fail!

You are the only person on this forum, perhaps in all of football fandom that will ever make a completely stupid argument for running one of the smallest running backs up the middle in a goal line situation when your big proven touch down scoring machine from 2008 is on the bench. Every other average person would tell you if you have a running back that scored 14 tds in the redzone the year before, you give him the ball

You can bring up all this useless far ranging stats that totally have little to do with this particular debate.. FACT IS LENDALE WHITE WAS THE BEST REDZONE BACK IN THE NFL IN 2008

Because here you get an enormous fail!

Ps. I must remind you once again. Do you best to read and comprehend peoples posts. Avoid going out and inventing b/s arguments that are not being addressed.

I didnt say lendale white is better than Chris Johnson. I said he is better in the redzone.

Our redzone offense sucked in 2007 when White was our feature back so maybe you don't have a damn clue what you are talking about.

In all these nonsensical arguments you make about lendale white and why he is on the bench, it gives me great solace you know that i am arguing with a person whose thought process in line with a coach who thinks or once thought

1)kerry collins is a good Qb and should currently be our starting QB
2)Nick harper is a good CB who will continue to be our starting CB
3)Chris Johnson should be run up the middle in redzone situations instead of our bigger, proven redzone scorer, lendale white.

Honestly I am glad that my arguments are against a man with that kind of twisted thought process. Practically every one on this forum agrees on the direction those three players should have taken...

    BUT NOT YOU....:moon2:

i agree totally. I remember we were killing Baltimore with VY versus Mcnair and we went totally conservative and Steve brought Baltimore back in the end. With a really good team, his philosophy works most of the time but when you get to the playoffs, you risk losing to teams that get turnovers or a special team play because the games are always close, even when you are dominating the game.

How many times do we have to lose to an inferior Baltimore team due to fluke plays or turnovers because we aren't blowing them out?
