I can only see Boldin being a titan after this season if I were to sign/trade for him in Madden 10. Otherwise I just don't see it happening. First off, I don't think he'd be interested in coming here over other teams that would probably try to get their hands on him. He'd probably rather play in New England, Philly or some other team that has an elite qb and a good offensive system. I'm not dogging our style, but I sorta feel comfortable with our wide outs in the long run. I think Kenny Britt will evolve quickly to our #1 receiver and be very explosive and powerful, sorta like Andre Johnson. Gage is a solid #2 in my opinion and Nate should be our 3rd wide out and our deep threat(if only he'd catch them and not let them slip thru his fingers, McCariens style) and If Cook and Hawkins continue to develop I can see them being able to easily contribute to our offense. I think that they will only get better as time goes on.

Money does not equal talent or production. I really hope Nate turns his game around and makes the big plays for us, but I'm not sure if it will happen. Britt will be good- he's already our best WR. Gage, Hawkins, and everyone else will be average at their best.

I just brought up Anquan mostly out of wishful thinking. Hey, it's nice to think about the future with our young talent rather than focus so much on this season:ha:. I really think we need to upgrade or develop our passing game some more because I'd rather not have CJ get 25-30 carries per game for the next few years. Because that will make for a short career for him, which I'd rather not have happen cuz he's kinda good.

I actually remember back in the 2003 draft desperately hoping we would draft Boldin. His stock had fallen badly because of a sluggish 4.71 40 time (and this always seems to take precedence over a guy that actually plays the game well). Who was it who said: "Production, production, production"... Anyway, I was starting to get my hopes up. Only for the Cardinals to take him 6 spots before us.

As great as Anquan Boldin is..he isnt a need for us. Despite our struggles we're actually pretty solid at the WR position. Anquan is going to want a nice fat contract...and I would rather us use that money on defense..then on another WR

True, money doesn't equal talent or production. However, it does represent the amount we have invested in a given position. We're not going to spend a whole lot more on WRs.

I'm fine with discussing what we might do next year, or what we should do, but Boldin isn't realistic due to the commitments that we've already made to Washington and Britt.

^Yes, defense is the answer. We won't make moves on WR's like Boldin because of Britt, and those other 2 knuckle heads catching balls from the receiver spot. Cook is here, Hawkins is finally showing face. We're good on offense, its defense we better suit up to improve.
