We all know that Anquan is not happy with his situation in Arizona and will probably be looking to get out of there after this season. I know there was talk of this last off season, but I think we should bring him in. Here's why:

    1) He will give us a great WR opposite of Britt that is actually reliable and is a scoring threat. In fact, Britt and him are pretty similar, which isn't a bad thing.

    2) He can block well. With CJ's explosiveness, WRs find themselves blocking downfield for him often.

    3) CJ is great, but we are starting to overuse him and need to avoid running him into the ground. If we could build a solid passing game with two stud WRs and give CJ 17-20 rushes a game, we would have a deadly offense.

    4) Our defense is no longer winning games for us, so we need to take a page out of the Saints book and just start putting up as many points as possible each week. A guy like Boldin would help us there.

    5) Boldin would bring veteran leadership to a very young core on offense. He would also be great for Britt's development and we wouldn't have to complain about Nate dropping sure TDs every week. I'm sure a lot of people are concerned with his attitude, but I think it was mainly caused by the Arizona front office.

Concerns: He may not be happy with the amount of targets he gets- we certainly run the ball more than Arizona. He has also been injury prone- which isn't good for any player, especially if he gets a big contract.

We spend money and a draft pick on WRs in the offseason, and people still complain and dream of WRs...

Wake up. With the money invested in Washington, and Britt being here for the long run, we're not bringing in a big free agent WR.

I'd love to have him on the team, he's a fantastic player. But it won't happen, so why argue for it?

Yea, as bad as our WR's are at times they're still arguably the best 3 ever in Titans uniforms together. I'd take Boldin if we didn't have money stuck with Washington.

    We don't need Boldin.

Hawkins is starting to develop into a reliable target and Gage is a worthy #2 behind Britt.

Cook is going to be everything we need at a fraction of the price Boldin would want.

Washington signed a 6 yr $27 mill deal that has only $9mill guaranteed. He's viewed as a pricey free agent pickup but at $4.5 mill per season is not a big deal at all. His money doesn't warrant that he start every game.

Washington excelled as the 3rd WR at Pittsburgh. Maybe that's the role that suits him best. Less pressure on a #3.

Can you believe Kearse is pocketing $3.5 mill this year.

until we draft or bring in a WR worth a duck people will continue to complain
Justin Gage is a #2 at best on any other team, even bottom feeders like Cleveland , Oakland and KC have better WR's than we do
note: exception = Kenny Britt, who I think will pan out fine

As great as Boldin is, I don't see us making a move to get him. We had our chance at him but went after Washington instead. I think that Nate will get better, still really hate him for that drop (right now) but I'll warm up to him once he makes some plays. Plus, we took Kenny in Round 1 so, not gonna happen.

Boy it would've been nice to have VY, with CJ, Britt, Bo, Cook, AND Boldin. We'd be in much better shape if we hadn't jumped the gun on Nate.

Better WRs actually hurt our team. We lost our identity for 6 games and sucked because of it.

This sounds like something a retarded sportscaster would say...

No. The reason we sucked for 6 games is because:
    a) The defense forgot they had to cover and tacke.
    b) Jeff Fisher thought we could win by having Kerry Collins throw the ball 40+ times.
    c) We underused our best player.
    d) Poor special teams and coaching/fo decisions.

Having more talented players does not make a team worse unless egos get in the way, which was not the case here. I can guarantee you Nate Washington didn't influence Fisher to throw the ball more cause he wasn't getting enough catches. The effects you're talking about are caused by a coach's poor decisions.
