I beg to strongly disagree. I cant stand Jeff fisher any more. Actually my hatred for him goes back some years even before this whole vince young Saga.

There is nothing i hate more in my life than donkey headed morons who are so set in their ways that they refuse to accept the truth even when they are hurting not only themselves but others. This is the very description of Jeff Fisher. I am not going to get into his stupidity in refusing to insert Vince young in game 5 or six, i wont get into how absolutely moronic all his decisions on special teams have been this year. (Astute football fans would even argue that the standard of our sp teams coming into the year were not even up to par with pro league standards and were even worse than about 20 college teams i can think of right off the top of my head.) And dont forget that point something tells me that its going to rear its ugly head yet again this week vs the colts and this time we will pay the price dearly.

I liken Jeff fisher to General Gamelin, the old buffoon tasked to save france from the pending German attack. Gamelin of course was "old school" like Jeff fisher. He believed that use of radios in war was stupid and as such relied of bike messengers. (He is re-known for sending attack orders to troops on front lines that had already been over run by the germans when the orders arrived) Much like the infamous failed soldier Fisher relies on nothing but old glory and previous achievements that even when combined still fall short of true victory.

Fisher had stubbornly refused to install a VY offense because this moron, like so many others believes in nonsensical and archaic theories that the only way to get to the superbowl is on the arm of a passing QB. Yes espn, and the sports networks have done a great job to hammer this absolute nonsense into people's heads. And before you go off rattling off winning passing QBs like Manning brady, Favre, please do all a favor and also list the 10s if not hundreds of passing Qbs that have flopped or not even won a superbowl. The ratio of failures when examined would only lead any person capable of logical thought that hanging your hopes on a passing Qb to win a superbowl is the text book definition of flinging crap against the wall and hope something stick. (the mannings and brady being the crap that stuck)

Only two teams have attempted to install a true hybrid attack that deviates from the conventional pass attack orientated offenses. The 2009 titans and the 2008/2009 dolphins. (Micheal vicks experience in atlanta does not count because it speaks to the stupidity of coaches like fisher who try and force a running QB into a passing offense then expecting him to run out of it when all else fails) I am talking about and offense specifically geared to the QBs running skills.
Both the titans and dolphins have achieved succesful results. And what makes this point really sour for me is the fact that the dolphins suceeded at this with personnel far inferior to that of the titans. Inferior o-line, inferior RBs, Inferior QB etc. In every aspect of the offense dolphins had/have no strength over the titans in running this kind of offense.

Yet we had to endure that painful 0-6 start that will probably cost us a play off spot. 31 out of 32 coaches in the NFL would not have sat there and let things get to that (even coming out wearing an opponents jersey and pulling the stunt Fisher pulled).

I dont truly hate any one on the titans team (well may be harper and Griffin just a little) but i can truly say I hate Jeff Fisher and i want him fired on the last day of football this season.

Pretty strong opinion on JF, but I think your logic isn't too bad and I definitely agree with you on hating "donkey headed morons that refuse to accept the truth."

I was on board 100% a few games ago, but Fisher has let the offense loose for the most part in these past few games and I respect him at least a little bit for that. I'm still on the fence on whether I want him back or not though, but if the Titans do finish 10-6 I'm probably gonna be on the don't fix what's broken by taking risks on a new coach wagon.

I dont like Fisher, he is ok and takes more chances when the owner is angry but soon at you give Fisher a breather his is back to his old ways. If we finish this season out on a good note and Fisher gets to stay, you can bet Fisherball will be back in 2010.

Vince was never nearly as bad as Russell. The only thing they have in common is they play QB and are black.

And how long is it before he goes right back to his old ways? JF will always be JF. Like Karmarouge i've wanted JF gone for a while now..and this season just reinforced that feeling even more. Im not one to forget. And there seems to be a cycle with JF..and this season is the perfect example. He'll be the archaic coach stuck in his ways..and refuses to change..he'll make extremely questionable decisions..and then we go on a nice little streak and all is forgotten. But sooner or later..he always rears his ugly head again. Then next season we'll be in the same prediciment. Im sorry..but I want change.

Lol. Yea I think JaMarcus was affected because he was always able to get by with his "big arm". Seems like nobody ever bothered to teach him how to be a QB. In college you can get away with just running your reciever deep and throwing the ball up for grabs..but in the NFL you have to do more then that...and unfortunately I dont think its going to get any better for him with the organization his in.

Maybe he needs VYs phone #..so VY can tell him how he began to grow as a QB

I'm ready for Fisher and this franchise to go their separate ways. Even if we go 10-6 and sneak into the playoffs I still want him gone. We went 13-3 last year and managed to keep all of our big time players minus Haynesworth (as well as add a lot of new talent). This team was primed for a deep playoff run this season. But Fisher's stubbornness and mismanagement put us in a position where we have to run the table just to have a prayer at the playoffs. Inexcusable.

If Bud hadn't forced Fisher's hand I have no doubt in my mind he would've started Collins for at least another 3 weeks and we'd have no shot at the playoffs right now. I used to be a huge Jeff Fisher fan. And I still think he's a pretty good in-game strategist but his blind loyalty and stubbornness kills him. Sad really.

Hypothetically speaking, if Fisher ends up gone, who do we all want to see here next year?

    I wouldn't mind Shanahan.

I honestly think we could get anyone that's available, the team has so much talent I bet most everyone would love to coach this bunch.
